This is actually a very wearable good quality quad that looks romantic and bride-like. Consists of a light shimmery rosy champagne, a sandy nude with silver glittery particles, a medium matte dusty pink and a deeper matte eggplant.
The colors apply smoothly with medium pigmentation – which I honestly prefer since it’s easier to control – and stay adequately with a primer underneath. That said, the price is just too much to justify since the colors or consistency aren’t that unusual.
Out of the Tom Ford quads I’ve tried the one that have found worth the most is Cocoa Mirage because it’s a matte earthy eyeshadow lover’s dream. The least worthy for me was the hyped Nude Dip because 3 out of the 4 colors look similar on the lid. Orchid Haze is a bit too pricey but still quite lovely.

Let me start w packaging. It is luxe rich brown w a dust bag && the applicators are bomb I use them all of the time & I would be sad if I saw them eliminated from the packaging. Then the colors I haven’t got any color description to add but all of the shades are ultimately wearable beautiful shades my fave is the pale shade but the lid shade is awesome too I’m not much on purple eyeshadow so this is unique to my collex I don’t think these lean so red as to look bruised or black eye you don’t even need eyeliner w this. And it’s suitable for day but can get smoked out for night w a black kohl. My fave TF$ quad is cocoa mirage. He’s hard to dupe! A lot of imagination & thoughtfulness was put forth into creating this chic collex of colors. #winning I have 7 quads now 3 new ones in the mail today so I’m slowing it wayyyyy down on ordering for awhile I will get the warm/cool TF$ palettes of I find time on eBay the problem w TF$ is the price pointe I have a lot of lipsticks (vanilla suede, nude vanilla, Sable Smoke, Indian rose, first time, pink dusk, forbidden pink, boys lips in Julian/Joaquin, Spanish pink…. that’s like ten!!??). I <3 TF$ #winning despite the price!

At last the perfect eyeshadow quad! I already own Nude Dip but this is even better – less metallic. This warm neutral quad contains a shimmery glowing ivory, a satin beige nude, a matte rose pink and a matte eggplant purple. The packaging is ultra-glamourous and quite study. Has a nice large mirror inside and two applicators so handy for travel. The shadows are very fine, almost buttery soft yet no fall-out. Easily blendable and seems to last well (although I always use primer). This quad can be used for a range of looks but for me it’s perfect for subtle, classy office makeup. Yes TF is very expensive but as others have mentioned you get 10g of product so it would last for many years. If you are looking for a classic, neutral eyeshadow quad of top quality I would highly recommend this.

Tom Ford’s lipsticks and I didn’t get on at all, so naturally I’ve been well able to resist the rest of the line. But when I saw Orchid Haze I knew it was for me.
This quad includes a pale pink tinged frosted champagne, a frosted rose gold taupe, a satin medium mauve tinged rose, and a deep plum that seems matte but has the slightest bit of rosy micro glitter that is barely perceptible once applied. These are the type of colors that can make eyes appear bloodshot if one doesn’t have the proper coloring. Suffice it to say that if the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette works for you this will too.
As far as any possible dupes in the UDN3 palette, there aren’t any exact matches between the palettes. There is no match for the champagne shade. The closest match for the rosy taupe would be Mugshot but it isn’t as pink and the finish is much frostier. The closest match for the mauve rose would be Liar, but again the finish is a frost as opposed to a satin. Darkside would be the closest for the deep plum shade, but it’s cooler toned and the finish is not as matte. The difference in formula between the two is quite noticable. The Tom Ford quad is much smoother in texture and more pigmented. There is less fallout with the dark shade and they last much better. I find I need a primer to get good lasting power with the UDN3. The Tom Ford has excellent lasting power regardless.
What impressed me most with these is the buttery texture. These go on smoothly whether I use Hakuhodo, Sigma, or Real Techniques brushes. Even the little sponge applicators that come with the palette work well with this formula in a pinch.
The price seems steep initially, but you do get 10 grams of product. Build your own MAC quad and you get 6 grams of product for $48. Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Envy Sculpting Eyeshadow palettes are $60 for 5.2 grams. Charlotte Tilbury runs $52 for 5.2 grams. And, while Estee Lauder and Charlotte Tilbury measure up quality wise, MAC can be hit and miss depending on the formula.
One small quibble I have is the size of the packaging. It is quite large. I’d like to see them do away with the applicators entirely (which I throw out anyway). This would reduce the size of the compact nicely. Plus, if you’re going to spend this kind of money you owe it to yourself to at least go get a set of Real Techniques brushes!
All in all, it’s a win for me. I’m eyeing the Lavender Lust palette as we speak. Great job, Estee Lauder…ahem…I mean Tom Ford!

Probably my favorite of all Tom Ford Palettes (though i couldn’t get my hands on nude dip so….). This is perf for an everyday neutral palette but with a twist. Its not boring nude tones, its gorgeous plummy “orchid” colors with the most beautiful white gold lid/highlight color i think has ever been invented. I love this palette for everyday and for classy night out looks. Check out my video for a full review, swatch, and demo!

A gorgeous quad with four beautiful shimmery shades, no sparkle shades and nothing overly frosty here. I will not repeat the shade descriptions others have already given, but let me add that I think these shades are really versatile on a wide range of skin tones. I think they are very muted and do not lean too warm, at least I find them a good match for my NW15 skin tone. Blendability is superb, and the lasting power is very good, even without a primer. And that is quite remarkable, because I have never found any eye shadow lasting on my lids for more than 2-3 hours without using a primer underneath. A beautiful quad and I would repurchase if I ran out, but you do get a generous amount of product in these quads that in my opinion justifies the high price tag. And I reach for my Tom Ford quads more than any other brand’s palettes that I own, and Orchid Haze is definitely one of my favorites.

while this is a beautiful and very pigmented eye shadow quad, creamy smooth (one of the ingredients is shea butter!), non creasing, easy to apply and has good staying power – i am not sure the super high price tag justifies the product. Yes, it is very pretty for those who like warm toned colors – it has a slightly shimmer peachy champagne, shimmery mauvish-rose, taupe with purplish tones (as it shows on my skin) and dusty rose..but i honestly think you will get a better bang for your buck with urban decay’s naked which has way more shades in one palette. I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 because i dont think it is worth spending THAT much money on.

This quad is lovely! The shades are quite unique IMO — I have tons of e/s and this has some really lovely unique shades in this quad. This quad doesn’t contain any glitter shades ( I am a fan of them actually) so if you don’t like glittery shades, you will like this one. Mostly satin/ light frost / pearl finishes. Gorgeous, did not disappoint.

Orchid Haze contains four 2g eye shadows and was formerly an asia exclusive now being launched in the US. Rumors are that this palette will be permanent . This palette includes a cream shimmer, taupe shimmer, mauve shimmer and a matte dark eggplant. While unique, this quad reminds me a little of Chanel refinament. The combination of shadows is stunning and creates a glimmering effect. All of the shades are very pigmented, blendable, and top quality. The price tag is steep, but this palette contains a generous amount of product and 4 stunning shades (no duds here). This is one of the best quads TF has released todate.
