I was looking for an eye shadow that would brighten my eye lids and cover the dark areas on my lids. The color is lovely in the pan but disappeared on my dry lids within an hour. It’s also very powdery when applying. Best shadows for my mature eyes are Dior, Chanel and Lancome. They are pigmented and don’t require a primer however, their color ranges are shrinking.

This is a matte warm cool pinky cream eye shadow. I have it in the LM Artist’s Palette for Eyes and Cheeks, a Sephora exclusive for Holiday 2014. I find it a bit too dark to really highlight my pale skin. I prefer Stila Chinois for a matte highlighting shadow. But this works okay. I apply it all over my lid and brow bone to serve as both base and highlighting shade. My other complaint besides the color not being quite right for me is that the texture is very powdery, and I get quite a bit of fallout, which makes a mess.

This is a fantastic highlighting color for day for under the browbone. I tend to use something a little shimmery for evening but like something more subtle for day. This color is perfect. The powder is finely milled , has average to better staying power and goes on like silk.
i also use the Vanilla Nuts and Topaz colors in this shadow.

I have bought this a few times — and thought I would replace with MAC Yogurt, but there is no comparision.
If you want a delicate color pink/white/cream to use as a highliter or on the lid, check out this color.
I will continue to repurchase unless it gets axed.

I am a huge fan of LM eye products because of the exceptional quality (just not a huge fan of the price!). I bought the morning dew to use as a brow highlighter and it has a very pretty barely pinkish white tint. It’s very velvety, goes on nicely, and stays put (thanks to the LM primer!). It is subtle…which is why I like it. For daytime I’ll usually pair it with fresco (crease) and rose (lids). Very pretty and soft.

Like all of LM’s eyeshadows, this is of good quality, and it’s a nice color … it’s just that I don’t think it’s particularly remarkable, and probably not worth paying the higher price for this particular color.
This is good for lightening darker shadows, adding a bit of a highlight to the brow bone, or just evening out the shade of your own eyelids if you’re a fairly pale white person like myself.
I like this shadow fine, but it’s not exciting, just very utilitarian. I’m sure I’ll eventually use it up, and hopefully replace it with something a bit more fun.

Maybe my Morning Dew e/s is old and it just went “bad”… I don’t know… but this eyeshadow did absolutely nada on my lids. I kept layering and layering, then looked in a magnifying mirror in bright light (because I couldn’t see anything when I looked in a regular mirror), and Morning Dew was like the amazing, disappearing-eyeshadow! I know Laura Mercier thinks American women wear too much makeup… but this eyeshadow is ridiculous! I don’t know what color skin you would need in order to get this shadow to even faintly appear on your lids, but it does not appear at all on mine, and I am Beige Ivory (LM Silk Creme Foundation) and NW25 in MAC Studio Fix Fluid. It doesn’t even give me a “my lids but better” look- it truly does nothing- so I would not repurchase.

A pretty, light color, great for the browbone and under the brow. Like all LM shadows, it stays on all day and blends well.

This is the best highlighter I’ve used. I’ve tried many different brands and they’re either too frosty or so matte that they’re unblendable. This product is different. It has no shimmer, yet it’s not chalky at all. The texture is like velvet. It’s a very neutral, light pinkish/flesh color on me. It softens the eye area and seems to make the skin appear much brighter and healthier. It also blends well with other shadows.

This is my holy grail eye shadow color for highlighting right under my eye brows. This goes on smooth and has great staying powder. I think it is the perfect cream with a little pink color that is exactly what color I would like to have naturally right beneath my brows. I will definitely buy again.
