I have two shades of this-one matte teal and one a duochrome dark green and I really like them. They’re very pigmented, and wear a long time on the eye. They blend decently well, just need to be built up a tiny bit where you blend. Theyre like $3-$4 a piece I think which isn’t bad, but isn’t great for one eyeshadow, even though it is a large pan.

Anyway, I’ve had my eyeshadow single since I started wearing makeup, for about 5 years, and there’s still plenty of it! I have the silvery-white eyeshadow and I use it as a base for other eyeshadows.

Fantastic eye shadow! I’ve got this in 2 matte singles, No Earthly Taupe, Linen, and the Browntones duo which is also thankfully matte. I’m 58 and mattes with some life to them are my friend.
Mattes can be chalky or cakey, but these aren’t. They have a creamy smooth feel. They hide the redness around my eyes, and the darkness that shows thru aging thinning lids.
I’m most impressed by No Earthly Taupe & Browntones, they work well alone or together in a neutral eye look. Linen is nice as a matte ivory highlight but its sometimes a touch too white. Since I’m a fair, wam skin tone ~ natural redhead, I find these work well with good colour payoff without overwhelming my skin.

These products were pretty surprising. I love covergirl and Revlon eyeshadows from the drugstore, and of course MAC is my favorite high-end brand, but these are some of Maybelline’s best eye-shadows I’ve tried. I’m all for checking out drugstore items. Maybelline did a decent job with pigmentation, although if I want the colors to really stand out, a primer is needed. I have all natural colors, and each of them look great as long as I apply them with brushes. The colors can crease a bit if primer isn’t used, and you will most likely get some fallout, but I have to give Maybelline a pat on the back for these. I have tried these shadows in their quads, but the quality is a lot worse in those, so if you like the colors in the quads, I would recommend you to get the single colors as they are much better quality. These shadows are good for inexpensive, every-day eyeshadow looks.

I love these! They will fade, go on with very little pigmentation, crease, and suck in general if not used with an eyeshadow primer underneath. I use the Too Faced eyeshadow primer and it makes these shadows just pop with intense color and last all day. I have these in Antique Jade and Amethyst. The green is so beautiful on. I have never worn bright colors before, but after trying that dazzling green, I plan to get a little more bold. The packaging is absolutely terrible, so cheap, but I am more than willing to sacrifice on the package quality if I get a good product with a low price. I have quite a few shadows from Nordstrom, and I swear that half the price goes into that beautiful packaging.

I own one of these and will definitely be going back to purchase multiple others! The name of mine has slipped my mind but it’s a shimmery light blue, with a tint of purple in some ways…sort of a periwinkle persay. The quality is very good and it applies much more easily and smoother than some of the other shadows I have in my stash. Will definitely get more!

I really like Maybelline’s individual Expertwear shadows. I have 4 or 5, and I find myself turning to them on a daily basis. Today I used the green single shadow (I think its the one pictured) as an all over lid color mixed with brown, then used it to line my lower lashline, its gorgeous. The color pigmentation is very good (on all colors), they last a while (and i do not believe in shadow primer for daily use), and they are very cheap! I love the new formulation, and I hope Maybelline keeps them around for a very long time.

Many of the reviews for this product are really good, but I was disappointed. This is definitely a low quality shadow. The container is good, but the product? The color was very faint, so I had to dig the brush into the shadow a lot before getting the actual color. In doing so, the excess got all over my face, and because I had a shimmery black shadow, the glitter was streaked all across my face. Once you have it on, it looks fine, bu within an hour or two, much of the color had faded. I’m not getting this again!

i’m reviewing the shade ‘pink sunsation’ specifically. it’s a pretty goldish pink shade with shimmer. i got this ridiculously cheap at my grocery store…they had a bunch of these just sitting on a shelf as clearance products. i picked up this color, a gold color, and a copper color.
i used sally hansen natural beauty fast fix primer with this. the shadow lasted all day but very subtle. it’s a really pretty neutral color and it’s pigmented but it’s not a deep color. this would probably make a great highlight. i just used it on the lid, which was also pretty.
i’ve had one maybelline quad that was kind of a flop, but this shadow was nice!

These are pretty good eyeshadows. Plus they are definitely dirt cheap! I got the vanilla colored eyeshadow. It’s very pigmented and it’s a nice color, nice and shimmery! Goes on smooth. It does crease/wear off after a while, so you should use a primer with it.
