I received this with a Beauty Box set. It is shiny when it goes, stays long however, I noticed it really accentuates the pores and wrinkles in a very unflattering way on my eyes. It might be good on young skin but definitely not mine. I love other Mally products but not this.

I didn’t buy this product for myself but got it as part of a QVC gift set for Christmas.
I owned zero cream eyeshadows. I used to dabble with them years ago but they always always creased on me and powder never does so I’ve stuck with powder formulas. When I got this for Christmas though I was happy to try something new. The shade looks like a super pretty rose gold straight from the stick.
The first time I applied this, I put it over Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I applied a decent amount straight from the stick onto my eye, and blended it out with my fingers. I was disappointed with how it looked. Sure, it was pigmented enough. Creamy enough. But the color on my lids was more of a brownish pink than the rose gold that I was expecting. I set it by lightly patting a light colored MAC mineralize baked eyeshadow over the top with my finger.
While it was okay initially but I didn’t really like it, after a busy almost 8 hour day at work, I was able to take a short enough break to catch a look at myself (using the reflective part of a stapler on my desk as a mirror.) I was surprised that it looked just as perfect as it did when I applied it in the morning, and I found myself thinking, “this actually is a pretty color” too.
Mally also doesn’t test on animals, so that’s a plus.
Would I buy this again? No. First of all this is evidently a limited edition shade (though I still see it for sale online which is why I’m even bothering to write this review.) But as much as I like the formula, I don’t see myself ever buying this in any color. These things are $25 each on Ulta’s website. I honestly find that too high for an eyeshadow stick. The way I look at it is if I bought 4 of these it’d be $100 and I DO NOT personally think they’re worth it.
