Maybe it’s because the product arrived not completely closed, but I found it pretty dry and very sheer. On the eyelid pretty much all that is visible are the sparkles which, in contrast to the product’s name, don’t last more than an hour on the lid.

I have tried many ELF products and do not like most of them. For a few extra dollars at the drugstore you can get much more bang for your buck.
This was hard to apply as it goes on very lightly and takes forever to build up any color. ( I tried it both dry and wet.) It also wears off very fast.
I like matte colors and most of their shadows are shimmery or downright glittery. Their choice of colors is also very poor.
This stuff is just not for me. I honestly hated it and after trying it several times tossed it out.

LOVE this product! I have it in Soiree and Celebration. It works great as a base or a stand alone shadow. The best way to describe the texture is a mousse. Its fluffy and creamy. Its much easier to use your fingers to apply this product than a brush. This lasted all day on my lids. And I was surprised because my lids tend to be oily and suck up product. But these suckers STUCK! They came off super easy with a makeup wipe. 10/10 for me!

I bought the shade “Confetti”. It was $4 CAD, and it was 4 dollars WASTED! It moves around in the pot and it is very hard to get any pigment to come off, and when you do its just chunks of glitter floating in a spongy matrix. It is honestly terrible. The glitter even flaked down onto my cheeks and made me look like a disco ball.
Ew. Wish I could return!

This stuff is going to be hard to describe…it comes in a small container thats plastic and clear and a black screw on lid…this product is like a cream eyeshadow….very shimmery…the texture is weird but really cool its like a whipped bouncy spreadable texture… There is a total of 7 shades a maroon a black thats more like gunmetal kind of color…a dark plumy purple with silver shimmers….a white shimmery color…a silver shimmery color….a dark brown bronzey color its my favorite one…and a muted gold…all of them are very shimmery so if you like matte finish this will not be for you… I use my finger to apply them bc using a brush can be pretty hard..also use a tiny amount when applying this bc if you try to apply alot at once it will not work..work slow with this and build your color up and the outcome with look beautiful..they are long lasting they dont need a primer..they are not heavy feeling at all on the eyes..there is no weird odor with them and they do not irritate my eyes…they will run you 3 dollars for one color which isnt bad at all….when you first get the container and open it up ot does look very small lol but im telling you this will last a long time and it looks so beautiful on the eyes.

I have Confetti and found it extremely hard to apply, it doesn’t move in the little jar it comes in and it’s so hard to even get some on my finger or on a brush! Seriously, it’s impossible to get any out that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was actually glued down or something.
It’s a very, very white colour and looks horrible on my eyes (when I did manage to get some out), it was the wrong colour for me but honestly I don’t know WHO would look good in that 🙁 it’s extremely bright and definitely stands out…for all the wrong reasons that is.
I tried to make the best out of the situation by blending with other colours but found it impossible to even do this with the other long-lasting lustrous eye shadow I have! It seriously looked like a big, gloopy mess on my eyelids and did not sit well at all. It’s like it wasn’t even made to be used as an eye shadow or anywhere on skin, for that matter.
The texture is very different to normal eye shadow and hard to work with, when applying it I couldn’t spread it on my eyelid properly so the gloop got onto my eyelashes. It’s the most challenging experience with eye shadow I’ve ever had and the result looked so bad that I took it off immediately – there’s so way I was going out in public looking like that.
I paid $8 NZD for it, which may not sound like a lot of money, but it does to me because of my horrible experience with it and I just think it was truly a waste of money. I would not pay ANY amount of money for that particular type of eye shadow again, even less than $8.

I really love this eyeshadow. I have this in soiree, which is a beautiful sparkly pink with purple tones. It is very buildable, going anywhere from sheer to opaque. I don’t get any fallout like a lot of people say. The texture isn’t something I’ve come across before in an eyeshadow. It’s like a mousse-cream hybrid, with all the creaminess and smoothness of a cream but an airy quality like a mousse. If you press down into it, the product will show the indentation of your finger. Another great aspect to this is its lasting power. It lasts all day on me without fading or creasing and although most eye products last on me, I see this lasting on most people. The only negative is it is a little hard to work with, but not enough to be horrible. Also, I hate the packaging. It is not nail-friendly or hygienic and my fingers are pretty much the only way I like to use this. But I love this and recommend it for a sparkly, pigmented eyeshadow that lasts all day.

This product is very difficult to work with even if you prime your eyes and put a powder on your lid first before applying. The best way to apply this product for me is to use my finger to get the maximum amount of color on the eyelid. This particular product it is not long lasting and you get more glitter than shadow color payoff. This product is gorgeous but it is definitely not what I expected I recommend going with a higher end product in a cream eye shadow. I’m disappointed to say I would not repurchase this particular product I expected so much more but because of the price point, you do get what you pay for sometime.

I bought this product months ago and I use it many 1-2 times a week. It truly lasts all day and I tend to get an oily T zone, not to mention i tap my figure time in it and the colour pay off is amazing! Its buildable, its light wait and goes on smooth! I you can use it with other powder based eye shadows. It was like $3 and it will last forever! I have the golden shade and its beautiful. I wish they had more colors!

I have this in the shade Toasted. A beautiful true gold, I apply it to my lids using a fingertip when I am going for a smoky chocolate eye. It really lifts the look and adds extra glamour.
Texture is interesting – it feels spongy, kind of bouncy when you touch it in the pot. On the lid, it’s more of a creme, settling to powder. Very pleasant to use and easy to apply, and you can build the effect.
But be forewarned, the finish is in-your-face glittery. This is definitely more a product for evening. The glitter is not in huge chunks, so more glam than trashy if that makes sense! I just put a dab of this on the centre of my lids for a bit of a glow.
A real disadvantage in my experience is that I get a lot of fallout. It’s strange because I have dry lids and generally I hardly ever experience fallout whatever I apply, as long as I apply carefully. I notice that many other reviewers are happy with its’ long lasting qualities but I have found that by the end of an evening half of it has migrated to my cheeks. I will have to try it with primer and see if that helps.
In conclusion, a gorgeous, glamorous glitterbomb. Unsure as to wether I’d buy again because of the fallout issue, but if this stuff works with primer I’d buy more and some of the other colours too.
