   Lovely palette. Six eyeshadows and one setting powder.

   (L to R, then top to bottom)
   Three Metallic Eyeshadows:
   – Metallik Platinum – “silver-taupe” – more of a pale pale metallic gold (as in platinum blonde, not platinum metal)
   – Metallik Pewter – “grey-blue” – medium metallic grey
   – Metallik Rust – “copper-brown” – more like a metallic coppery gold
   Air-Light Setting Powder – looks white, goes on white but is very lightweight and disappears over the shadows nicely; very big pan
   Three Matte Eyeshadows:
   – Blackened Black Clay – pretty darn black
   – Blackened Blue Clay – deep navy bluish black
   – Blackened Brown Clay – supposedly a brownish black, but it wears pretty darn close to black, maybe “soft” black; in the pan it looks a shade lighter than the Blackened Black Clay (so, a deep deep charcoal grey)

   Great if you love a smoky eye. I haven’t tried these shadows without the setting powder, but they do stay put nicely when using it – no color drifting or sliding elsewhere, and the colors don’t fade. I’m slightly disappointed that the Blackened Brown Clay wears ever so slightly as a softer black than the Blackened Black Clay, instead of having more brown tones, but given that they are named “Blackened Clay” I can’t say I’m surprised. The metallics are gorgeous. Applied lightly they give a nice sheen; with a heavier hand they can look more like a foil. Retails for $49. Maybe a bit on the pricey side, but I know I will enjoying using this.
