I’ve just about hit pan on the two shimmery shades but that’s not bad considering I’ve had this pallete for over a year! I find the lighter colours are all perfect for creating an amazing base but when you start adding the browns your eyes look just FABULOUS! Same its limited edition, I’m sure this pallete will last forever though x

Such a subtle range of colors with great pigment! I even love the double ended brush included! One end for easy color pick up & the other end is a great blending brush.

I purchased this from the BB counter right when it came out in the holiday collection. It seemed to be perfect for me because I love warm neutrals. However, something about these colors made my eye lids look reddish and irritated, as if I had been crying. I am NC30-35 for reference.

This palette is gorgeous – from the colors, to the nice brush, and to the sleek compact. I bought one for my sister and one for myself as the colors are all USABLE. You can go from day to night with this.
The dark hues are great for evening – smokey eye look. The light colors you can play with for daytime. A very good color palette. You will use all of them. A good limited edition palette.

I am absolutely in love with this palette, BB shadows are normally $20 each and this one comes with six shadows and is only US$45 (of course with less product than regular sized– but who actually finishes eye shadow?).
The first 3 are matte:
Ivory is perfect for highlighting brow bones
oat is nice to give a little depth to my crease
and i LOVE espresso to line my eyes (i used to use BB’s gel liner to tight line my eyes but this works even better when you have a proper base (i use BB’s long wear cream-shadow in cement- this is great for smoothing out the redness on my eyelids and makes them look less puffy because is matte and won’t reflect light off my eyes and liner/shadow NEVER BUDGES on top of this). I just use the MAC 212 or any flat top thin brush to tight line and thinly line to top of my eyes and it gives a wonderful natural yet smokey look.
The other 3 are shimmery:
I usually dont use shadows during the day but at night I would smoke my eye up with burnt sugar and use black plum for the outer corner and lower lash line.
the only color i dont use often is velvet bronze because its coppery and I dont really like the red hue in that because it makes my eyes look a bit puffy..
I’m asian and this palette goes reaally well with my skin tone and eye shape, all the colors show up. I love the compact case and how it comes with a mirror and brush (although i dont use their brush) I think its a great deal for the price and quality

This is a limited edition palette Fall 2010 collection (I think). It consists of :
3 matte eyeshadows :ivory, oat (neutral brown, a bit like UD Naked), Espresso(dark black brown)
2 metallic eyeshadows: Burnt sugar,Velvet Bronze
1 shimmer eyeshadow: Black Plum (uh..a blackish plum with shimmers? :P)
I have Urban Decay super hyped Naked Palette which I am pretty disappointed with since I find the colours are too shimmery except for the very few matte ones. Shimmers are ok but the ones in UD Naked Palette have really annoying fall out and I would find glitters on my nose, cheeks, top of lips, and on lips (though that could be from my shimmery lipgloss, so I’m going to let UDNP off the hook on that one). I’m 41, and I don’t really want to look like I’m wearing my kids’ art project. Got the Bobbi Brown eye palette since I love neutrals and I am thoroughly happy with it. No fall out, subtle shimmers instead of glitters, very well pigmented, no chalky colours, blends easily, long lasting (I do use a base). It also comes with a perfectly usable double sided eyeshadow/eyeliner brush which is of a nice length (not one of those slightly longer than a toothpick, with bristles so splayed out and scratchy ‘I can engrave my name on wood with it’ useless ones that are usually included in palettes). Neutral lovers, check this one out! PS: And I’m not even really that big on Bobbi Brown stuff.
