I’ve been using them now for over a year, which means that I can tell you how I feel about Napoleon Perdis color discs.
I have the pink one which is matte and a shimmer one which is in a plum shade. I did a review about the Napoleon Perdis color discs and shared my thoughts in the video. The video is going to be above this paragraph or on your right. Also, I included a little eye makeup tutorial where I used the shades that I am having and created a look with it so that you are having an idea of how they perform.

I swatch a few shadows and weren’t too impressed once they had become sheer after budging it. Then I saw that you can use it wet, so I tried a swatch with water and HOLY CRAP! It comes out way more pigmented. I brought pink corset after they sold out of the Shiraz shade, so gorgeous. Lasting power is pretty good, about four hours or so. Price on these are ridiculous though! $29 AUS each. Just a massive ouch to anyone’s wallet.

Even if its the best shadow I’ve tried I not gonna guy it again. Why? Cos it’s so expensive! But I must admit that is has many good points. – the colour is so vibrant and intense you only need a little touch if it for your eyes to pop – doesn’t smudge or rub off even without primer – can be use dry or wet

I bought this in Espresso To Go and it cost $30 at Myer. This is a perfect matte crease shade and the colour payoff is good. However, it is a 3 lippie product because without primer it will crease and I think $30 is a bit too much for NP. I went around doing a price comparison and this is comparable to high end brands like Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown etc.
With a primer however, there is no crease and it lasts all day. I do love this as an everyday colour.
Packaging is nice – clear box so you can see the product and is just a flip top lid, which is easy if you are working one handed, but one issue is the lid doesn’t lock closed so not good for travel. It will shut but not lock, I don’t know if mine is broken?
Anyway, is a good matte shade overall and very easy to use 🙂

Was acne-prone for years
Foundation preference is to look as yellow as possible, absolutely nil pink

I have purchased Colour Disc Ultra Suede, is very powdery. Would not buy this again. Very expensive for low quality product, the package – the flip lid broke off approx 3 months after purcase.

I really love the color of this product (a pretty coral pink), but I wasn’t crazy about the packaging, or the price. It was expensive, so I was expecting a highly pigmented color in a flip open case, but it has an annoying twist open container that I just hate. It also doesn’t last very long, even when I use primer!

I bought a simple matte black colour disc, looking for something to pair with a loose gold eyeshadow pigment called “Copper Element” (That I absolutely LOVE btw). This black colour does not pop or do really anything for me at all, it almost goes on as a dark grey. I even tried wetting my brush for a more dramatic look but I found my efforts to be a waste of time. This product was not worth what I paid for it, and was not as “inspired” as the girl at the counter assured me it was. Don’t buy unless you’re prepared to cake on the colour in order to reach a simple black. The packaging was quite pathetic also, I have never been a fan of Napoleon’s packaging. Not happy at all, overpriced. 🙁

This is sooo pigmented and I have the shade blushing bride. I use it for highlighting but it is a pretty vibrant eyeshadow. Very good for the price, and is travel friendly. You won’t regret buying this!

These things are addictive. I have one is almost every colour I think! fabulous colour payoff when applied dry. Blends beautifully. Ridiculously pigmented and bright. Perfect opaque, dense colour application when used with a dampened brush. Also, I’ve noticed that using a damp brush doesn’t make the rest of the pan clump or become ‘solid’ like my MAC ones occasionally do. I haven’t used one of these up yet as the container is very generous for the price, but if I ever finished a colour I would definitely repurchase. Love them!

I really love the color discs as eyeshadows since they are VERY pigmented! I own 4 of these in red, fuschia, green leaf, and beige. The red is a true red, and the fuschia is the best hot pink I have ever seen. All colors are very bright. I can never see myself finishing 1 though, these things are huge!

Napoleon color disc in 82 is my favorite blush. I have rosacea so I use a full cover foundation on my face and then I tend to look very flat but with this color I get a very pretty and natural flushed look. I love it. The powder is very fine and it’s very easy to adjust coverage. I said I would repurchase but I use very little of it to get a natural look so it will prob last me forever.

I’ve purchased this product in No. 9 and its a pinky corally colour. The colour is quite pale in the container but against skin it really stands out as a bright light pink/coral. I love the intensity of the powder and love layering it on the cheeks. I also use this as an eyeshadow to add colour to the face. This is great as you get an overall coordinating colour for both eyes and cheeks. Love it!! Definately one of my fave blushers. 🙂 UPDATE: I have officially finished…YES FINISHED this entire pan which for me is a record because I buy so many blushes. Therefore this is definately a HG colour for me!!

I have a few of these eyeshadows and I dislike each of them equally. They are so overated for the $$.
Each eyeshadow isn’t very pigmented at all and quite powdery. The staying power of this product is really rubbish – it will disappear from your lid in just a few hours.
Also, the conatiners on two of my five shadows have cracked just from me opening and closing the container.
I really regret buying these and I only bought them because they are an Australian brand but NP really does not match up to all the other brands in that price range.

I’m on to my second colour disc number 5; in the re-released line its called ‘Skinny Dip’. It is the perfect matte nude that I wear everyday with classic, pin-up style black liquid liner. I dot a bit of China Doll foundation on my eyelids, blend and then apply this shadow and it lasts, crease free- all day, even in humid Brisbane weather on my oily skin. Definitely a repurchase, even if the price tag is a little exorbitant. The new packaging is pretty damn cute too, although the mirror is so small its redundant.

these eyeshadows are realy good. but i discovered that they are actualy exactly the exact same product same as kryolins eyeshadows. just like most other napoleon products. i only gave it 3 lippies because of this. you can get them alot cheaper as kryolin.
but my favourite one of these is the matte white ( not sure of its number) i think it was discontinued from NP but its so pigmented and soft i realy like it.
