A unique and wonderful shade range. All of the shadows are creamy, pigmented and easy to blend. Also very versatile, both casual and more dramatic looks can be created using. Shadows wear well throughout the day.

Delicious packaging, reminds me of a chocolate box, and the shades are so beautiful and creamy, minimum fall out. Also, this palette is so versatile, you can combine all the shades easily and create a lot of nice looks

Great palette with neutral shades and a pop of pink for a variety of looks to create, from everyday natural to evening smoky eye. Not as pigmented on my lids but blends so smoothly. Price wise it is higher than drugstore but cheaper than high end. Packaging could do better if there was a mirror but otherwise it’s a great starter palette if you want to start trying out high end brands.

Yes, I am also a fan!
I first knew Zoeva for their brushes, but never ventured into their makeup products until some months ago, when I decided to give it a try. I bought this palette and 3 blushes that are being reviewed separately.
As many other have said, this is a very versatile palette, I love nudes and neutrals and I am definitely using 8 out of the 10 shades in it…and that is a lot. In a palette of 5 or 6 shades, I always end up using 2 or 3 shades at most!
And the color payoff is great. In short:
Pros:
– very wearable shades
– stay put fairly well, but need a primer underneath
– great color payoff
– slim palette and even if cardboard is not posh, it is light and great for travelling (=will not smash)
– not expensive at all
Cons:
– some shades have a remarkable fall out
– mirror (missing) would be appreciated
All in all a great palette, a safe buy and you get a lot fo the money. Get it!

I got this for my birthday, after wanting it for ages. Pigmentation is amazing. Blend ability is also fantastic. I use it with the Zoeva matte eye base or MAC Soft Ochre paint pot. The colours are well chosen to create so many looks. They are warm toned, which are extremely popular. Overall, a lovely palette and one I’d highly recommend.

Really good every day colors with some pops of colour which you can use to build up your courage! I find them easy to apply and blend. The mattes are awesome but some of the shimmers (top row, second from the left), don’t show up unless you really try to pack it on. As an NC40, the lighter shades won’t show up as vibrant of course.

Very beautiful palette from the packaging to the shades. The shadows, even the mattes, are creamy and pigmented. I especially love the shade “Pure Ganache”, which i personally feel is the most beautiful of all in the whole palette, it is just pure creamy buttery and pigmented golden goodness. The palette as a whole is also very versatile, cohesive and quite easy to work with and i have definitely gotten a number of different looks out of it. I only wish that it came with a mirror, but because it is generally an amazing product in terms of the shadow’s quality and the affordable price, it is forgivable.

No words will describe what a pleasant feeling it is when you buy a palette on a whim and it becomes a headliner in your collection. I absolutely love this palette – it’s a good staple for glam and evening looks. Blendable, buildable, good pigmentation (brown girl friendly!) – nothing to say but the highest of praises for this palette. They do work best with Zoeva’s own brushes, not to say that they aren’t as beautiful with others!

Hands down Zoeva’s best palette. Or atleast that I have tried. This is such a gem and I still feel like they were one of the first (along with Too Faced) in these brown, warm toned, chocolate-y shades and every other brand has ridden the hype ever since. As always, the matte shades are a bit too sturdy and more difficult to work with than the shimmer shades, which is pretty normal anyway. Still, they could be better. But the shimmers more than compromise that. Especially Warm Notes, Pure Ganache and Delicate Acidity are standouts in this palette.
A musthave for any warm toned lover and they’re still rather reasonably priced (though the price has gone up over the years) but the packaging could still do with an upgrade as it’s cardboard and gets dirty pretty quickly.
Would absolutely repurchase if I ever ran out of it or lost it somehow.

If I had to recommend a palette to someone starting out in makeup, I would 100% recommend them any of the Zoeva palettes, as they are very good quality for the price.
Cocoa Blend was my first warm toned palette, although there are cooler shades in the palette, and therefore I feel it is a very versatile palette – I can get lots of looks out of this palette (e.g Bitter Start + Substitute for Love + Freshly Toasted for a warm matte eye, Sweeter End + Warm Notes + Beans are White for a pink smoky eye, and replace Warm Notes for Delicate Acidity for a purple smoky eye). Warm Notes (deep cranberry) and Pure Ganache (gold) are probably my favourite shades, as they are richly pigmented. Zoeva eyeshadows blend well too, and the mattes in this palette are great as transition shades/smoking out the edges of a look.
I have two qualms with this palette – the first is that I would like more matte shades (although I may be bias, as I love matte shadows, so that is less serious), but the other is longevity. Zoeva shadows don’t wear as long as my other shadows do, which is a shame. I wear most of my shadows with TF Shadow Insurance, but these do tend to fade 4-5 hours in (although I do have very oily eyelids). Therefore I would be hesitant to wear these eyeshadows if I knew that I needed to wear my makeup perfectly for a long time, but when they do fade, the colours mute and they don’t crease that much, so it’s not a huge deal for me. I know some people aren’t a fan of the packaging, but I think it’s great, its part of the reason the palette is so inexpensive, it’s easy to travel with due to its thin size and doesn’t weigh a lot (plus I think the design looks great!).
Therefore I would certainly recommend this palette, as I think they’re excellent for the price, and I am now looking into the Matte Spectrum and Caramel Melange palettes!
