I absolutely adore this. Sand Glow is a complex shimmery taupe gold creme shadow in stick form. The staying power is incredible and application is a breeze- just swipe it on and blend with fingers or a brush. I use this all on its own for an natural everyday “my lids but smokier” (on my NC40 skintone) look, and also a base for other eyeshadow colors such as taupes, bronzes, and plums.

I rarely use up eyeshadows, what more eyeshadow sticks and I’m proud to say that this is the only eyeshadow stick I’ve used up and repurchased! I’m lighter than NC15, Asian and live in a tropical climate. When I wear this, I never need an eyelid primer, and the product just blends so beautifully and the shimmery bronze/ gold / grey shade just looks so good on my skin tone. It’s a beautiful neutral / everyday shade and it just makes eyeshadow application a breeze!

Laura Mercier’s Caviar Sticks are similar to the new NARS Velvet Shadow Sticks and the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Sticks. They are similarly priced, give or take a buck.
Sand Glow is a gorgeous summer color, a very wearable bronze with gold shimmer. These sticks are easy to apply and look great blended with fingers when you don’t happen to have a brush handy. Once you put this on, it will last a full day, even in humid weather. I remove mine at night with a gentle makeup remover from Paula’s Choice, and I recommend having something oil-based or silicone-based to take this off.
Sand Glow will work with most complexions but is especially flattering if you have blue eyes. For a highlight browbone color, Sugar Frost Caviar Stick works very nicely, as does Rose Gold. I paired Sand Glow with the Marc Jacobs gel eyelining crayon in Brownout, a dark brown with gold shimmer. It’s a beautiful summer combination. It doesn’t crease or fade. The color stays true. Would definitely buy again.

Who doesn’t want molten gold eye lids? This is a beautiful colour that is perfectly formulated. It is a shimmery bronze gold that is very soft. It looks great simply on its own or with the Khaki or Plum stick.

This is a lovely shadow! The shade is a dark gold with brown undertones. I appreciate that this doesn’t have any yellow or orange undertones since I don’t think they flatter my brown eyes. This is the only shadow I keep in my makeup bag since it is easy to use on the go and is travel friendly. Wish I could say the same about MAC paint pots… I will repurchase!
