To me, Cocoa is the best brown in this shade range.
Not only is it rich, delicious and vibrant – but it also has that very subtle gold sheen to it that will compliment every single eye colour out there. You can sheer it out with a brush or really layer it, it will look equally stunning no matter what application technique you end up going for.
Cocoa pairs really well with some of her matte shades, like Caramel or Au Naturel. With two-three pencils you can easily create a cohesive, everyday eye look and not worry about it smudging or moving. These stay put so well! I own 19 shades in total and have unedited arm swatches in a separate review here for those of you curious to learn more ( Hope this helps!

This color makes my hazel eyes pop, and it brings out their green. I love how easy this product is to apply – just swipe, blend, and go! I generally use this on my upper lids, with a touch of Moonstone in the center and on my lower lash line. It’s a perfect daytime look. And at night, pack this on for a beautiful smoky eye. Great, versatile product.

Why on earth i didn’t try this earlier…!!! i am asian with single eyelid and i rather do my eyes except for special occasion cause it just take so damn long to do smokey eyes….das my only option because simple look with just eyeliner simply doesn’t show when i open my eyes….it takes so long to blend eyeshadow with eye primar and everything…also i have oily eyelid so if they are not done right…or i try to be lazy and skip the primer then everything goes to the bottom of my eyes within half an hour…
With this i was able to do my eyes so quickly….instead of blending eye primer first..all i i need is swipe some oil controlling powder on top and underneath quickly then two strokes of the stick then blend out with a brush….then mascara then i’m good to go….it might still seems liked alot of you people who is blessed with nice defined eyes……but for me this is so much easier already!!!!
the most important thing is da it doesn’t smudge even when i put it to the test to wear it at the gym!!!!!!!1 i’m just so excitedd!!!
the color i bought is cocoa which is perfect cool toned brown for everyday and no need for eyelliner….!!!
highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use this as a liner and it is magnificent (blue eyes with a green undertone). However because the colour is so special on me I suspect it won’t do as much for people with brown eyes Cocoa is a dark golden brown with flecks of gold shimmer which just bring some light to it; perfectly suitable for daytime wear. I love the formula and convenience of all the caviar sticks. Khaki used to be my basic but now I reach for Cocoa with Au Naturale on the lid and Cobblestone in the crease and lower lid. For me it’s a very natural look. Sometimes I use Bobbi Brown Stone in the crease but overall I don’t like her creamshadow sticks as much as LM.

I like this, but I’m not sure if I love it. The texture goes on very creamy and pigmented, but it can blend out a bit patchy. The color is a warm brown with subtle shimmer that can be too red for some people. I use this the most for a natural day-time look by lightly lining my eyes with this along with a cool grey liner then blending/smoking it out for a very diffused liner look. With primer it has decent lasting power, but on my greasy Asian hooded lids it cannot last all day; the product will fade and migrate a bit into the crease. I’ve also used it as a base for dramatic smokey eyes and that works well. Based on the many reviews stating how long-lasting it is, I was hoping for a one-product smokey eye I could wear all day, but my lids are way too greasy for that. For the price, I probably won’t repurchase unless I can’t find anything better after trying out other similar products.

Pretty colour, nice smooth blendable texture, lovely to work with. As others have said you can apply it thick for an intense brown and then you can easily sheer it out with a brush or finger for a quick and easy smokey eye. I don’t like the longevity, I put this on of a morning, it’s gone by lunchtime. I’m experimenting with powder to ‘set’ it/extend the longevity but.. It’s an expensive product, $40 or thereabouts in Australia. I don’t need products that don’t last all day, especially from high end brands. I’m so unimpressed by the lack of longevity that I will not bother with any other caviar sticks.

This is absolutely holy grail status for me. Cocoa is a yellow-based dark brown, which means that it gives me the darkness and depth I’m looking for without making my dreaded under eye circles look worse. I’ve found that most, if not all, black eye shadows contain a blue based pigment which only exacerbate my dark shadows, but this caviar stick in cocoa absolutely doesn’t- it really makes my eyes POP, and the colour is so intense and rich that I feel like I’m applying peat straight from the earth onto my lids. I can comfortably wear this on my waterline, (doesn’t fade) on my lower lashline (makes my eyes look awake and alert) and with a pointed liner brush, also on my upper lash line as a liner (helps to thicken the appearance of my lashes) the overall effect is matte, but there is a very fine and hardly noticeable gold shimmer in the actual product which doesn’t show up- on me at least. I really recommend this, particularly for ladies who are after intensity without being obvious about it- black liner just doesn’t work on everyone, especially if you’re very pale or have discolouration beneath or around your eyes. FWIW I’m also a contact lens wearer and this doesn’t transfer to my lenses or irritate my eyes in anyway at all. Definitely recommend!

Love the color payoff! I really like the caviar sticks – so versatile. So soft and can pat or brush in place, then it doesn’t budge. It’s a dramatic, but neutral color. Can be dark, with just a swipe, or you can brush it out to make it more sheer. I like to soften it for day with Bobbi Brown stone cream eye shadow. For me, it just adds that something extra. I prefer Cocoa to the Khaki color, which I also have.

Cocoa is a neutral brown without any redtones, but it has a tendency to look muddy on my lids if worn alone. As a result, I use it as a eyeshadow base for a brown smoky eye using NARS Mekong and black gel liner. The formula of LM’s caviar sticks is superb and long-lasting but Cocoa wasn’t my favorite shade.

I carry this around me every where, it’s great for the waterline as it lasts ALL DAY long! Be careful if you accidentally apply it on your under eye because it sets quickly and will be a pain to remove. That attests to how long it can stay. This was intended as a shadow stick which I have used when I needed to alter my day long into an evening one.
It’s a dark brown with bronze flecks.
It’s similar to Mac’s eye kohl in Teddy but not a dupe.
