I just got this the other day and have been testing it out. My instant reaction is that I love the matte formulas by viseart. They don’t go on chalky at all. The lightest shade which I have used as a base shade is smooth and pigmented when applied and both of these qualities tend to be an issue for me in many other brands I have tried for a base shade in a similar color. (This is my first Viseart palette). I was looking forward to trying the shimmers also. They are okay, but are pretty standard formula for any other shimmer formula. I do not like the second two rows of shimmer shades. The mauve looking one leans way too silvery which I absolutely do not like. I think I’d rather get the Viseart matte palette. This palette is extremely cool toned – even moreso than I thought it would be. I actually kind of like the packaging even though for the price I would expect something sturdier. It gets dirty looking very easily which is annoying.

Really not impressed with this, particularly for the price. I was duped by the “innovative formula” and promises of long wear- as soon as I applied it, it became clear that it was just another dusty talc-based formula that costs too much.

-The shimmery shades aren’t pigmented enough, so you can’t shade with them and they all look the same
-Some creasing, even with great primer
-Hard to shade, since the matte shades are pigmented, but too powdery to create definition
-Cardboad packaging for $60. Cardboard!
-The palest shade doesn’t seem to flatter the others
-Instead of shimmer, you can see the sparkles
-Sparkle fall-out. Not cool.
The Yves St. Laurent nude palette is just slightly more, but you get an excellent solid case, my favourite brush of all time and very buttery, long-lasting and pigmented shadows. A note to skip over the purple palette (Underground), though, since the brush is different and the shadow quality isn’t as good. UD Basics is another one I find lasts and is easy to work with for a lower price tag.
Sometimes I’m downright pissed off by a product for the price. This is one of them. My error for falling for the marketing, I guess. It’s just a talc-based, powdery, chunky-glitter regular old palette in a cardboard package being sold for $60. The least I can ask for is no creasing or glitter fall-out. Thank goodness it was a gift cert. Lesson learned.

To be honest,i am disappointed in this product. I love the colors and the pigmentation.
I fell in love online when i saw the shimmery rosy-medium beige shade but that is the one that i took out the palette and threw away. It has unsightly glitters that travels everywhere..
And not only that…the shadows do not last on me..granted..i have oily eyelids..but having to touch up my eyeshadow 3x a day is not normal. Yes i use primer,always!
All my other eyeshadows don’t disappear this fast,not even the drugstore ones.
This is the first product i’ve bought from Viseart and i really don’t feel the need to purchase anything else from this brand…Sorry!

The mattes are great. They blend very well and look very diffused and airbrushed. That said, I also had a ton of fallout. I used UDPP and patted on the lid as Temptalia recommended but I found rogue sparkles as far down as my top lip over the course of the day. Puzzling since there is no detectable glitter in the shadows. I may give it another try, but that is very off-putting for me and since 50% of this palette is shimmery I am likely to return it. Had it been less expensive I’d consider keeping it for the mattes because they are quite superior. I may try an all matte palette in the future but it will have to be during a sale.

This palette is beautiful! The shimmer formula is different than the ones in the large palettes. I prefer these shimmers- they are more intense. This little palette is all inclusive- great crease shades and beautiful lid colors and even a good base/ highlight color. I use this palette constantly. For 45 dollars, you get 6 useable shades. I’ve bought many palettes for the same price with more shades- but there are usually shades that I don’t like/ use. I love all of the shades in Cashmere.

Am I the only one that had a lot of fallout with this?
I can objectively look at this palette and agree that it’s very high quality. I actually think the packaging looks beautiful and I find it easy to use, though I do prefer mirrors in…everything. The shades aren’t perfect for me – they skew a little too cool and icy, but that’s not the palette’s fault. And yeah, they’re not very exciting but that was my purpose in buying it. I wanted basic, everyday shades of the highest quality. Overall they are buttery and blendable and long lasting. The pans are large. There is some fallout with the shimmer shades, like I said, definitely enough to be worth mentioning.
I am considering switching this out for different shades, and will 100% end up buying one of the bigger Viseart palettes. But this one wasn’t a total hit for me.

This is my first Viseart palette and I love it! Since I got it, I’ve used it about every day.
The consistency is very creamy, they blend wonderfully and the colors are perfect for everyday makeup or as a base for different looks. They’re really comfortable too.
I have very oily lids and have always used my Mac Paintpot Soft ochre as a base, haven’t really tried it without yet, but this works perfect for me.
The highlight is amazing, it really glams up the look. When I use it on my face it gives a subtle, but high quality, glow.
The packaging is kind of funny, not my favorite.
All in all I really recomend it if you’re looking for high quality shadows that blend perfectly, feel buttery and last for a long time.

This is my first Viseart purchase and yup, these are the best quality eye shadows I have ever owned. Temptalia has ranked this palette in her top 5 for 2016, and that lady has never steered me wrong. They blend so effortlessly and beautifully, even with my finger, but when I use brushes these are in a whole new league. I love the fact that you can play around with the intensity for day looks and evening looks. This reminds me a lot of Tom Ford`s Nude Dip, and I am curious to see how they compare in quality. (I`ve never tried anything from TF). However this palette has 6 shades and is 50% less than a Tom Ford quad, so yeah, curious to see what a 50% hike in price means in terms of quality. Considering the price of the Viseart small palettes and the quality, I would say this purchase is a must, they are THAT GOOD. I even love the packaging, which is not bulky and easy for travel.

Love these! The blend nicely and don’t crease. I rarely even have to use a primer. Pigment quality is good and you can easily control depth of color.
I also love that Viseart can manage to make quality products without silicone or bismuth. It’s virtually impossible to find quality shadow without them.
