I have The Burgundy Palette and I really like it. First off, love the warm color scheme. I do think it’s missing one darker brown, because the two browns it has are quite similar. The mattes are very easy to work with. They kick back some powder on the palette, specially the shade Beach, but I’ve never had problems with fall out when applied on the eyes.
It has 3 metallics. Dubai is quite disappointing, it doesn’t really look like a metallic no matter if you use a wet brush or your finger. But the other shades, are beautiful, specially LA (that one is the star for me).
There’s also a satin shade that you can use for highlight the inner corner and brow bone, but it might be a little dark for light and fair skin tones.
I’m giving it 3 stars for packaging because I got it when it didn’t come with a mirror, now it does. If it had the mirror I would give it 4 stars. Although it’s simple packaging I find it nice and sleek. Doesn’t take much space so it’s good if you want to travel.
I know this one competes in color scheme and price with the Modern Renaissance and you get more colors with the latter, but you do get more more than double the amount of product per shadow with this one, so… depends on what you prefer.

I have the burgundy palette, and honestly it’s pretty easy to work with, makes good looks. Only thing I’m missing is a matte cream colour. The shipping and packaging isn’t great, but overall price isn’t bad even with the Canadian conversion.

The Bronze Palette is nice, it’s a good palette for some light looks, not everyone wants to be glam and just like light eye shadows some that are not that pigmented. If you are someone who likes light makeup and would use this one palette every day then yes I guess it’s worth it, but if you want something glam and dramatic this palette is not for you.

I have the bronze, burgundy, and royal peach palette. I like the palettes but wish the first two came with mirrors because a palette should come with one for $42. I like the shimmers in the palette because they are pigmented and quite buildable. The mattes are all good and they are easy to blend even for a beginner such as myself. The shimmers in the burgundy palette are more vibrant and creamy.
The royal peach palette smells like paint if you put your nose close to the eye shadows. The mattes are good but the shimmer shades need a primer because they have terrible fallout compared to the ones in the first two palettes. The peachy shades are pretty intense; they appear almost neon on my medium skin. Mojito is beautiful but needs to be wet in order for it to appear the way it does in the pan and you definitely need a primer for this one or you will get fallout. The only shimmer shade I didn’t like is North Star; it is stiff, difficult to pack onto the eyes, dull, and has bad fallout even with a primer. Royal honestly sucks. if you want to use it on the lid or crease because it is so powdery and sheer. There is also no darker shade in the royal peach to define the crease but I still think the palette is good for a light eye look. I don’t mind that there isn’t a highlight shade. The blue is patchy but still looks vibrant on the lash line. I like the packaging but wish the eyes were on the front of the palette rather than the name “Kylie.” I heard complaints for the too faced sweet peach because it had too many deep brown shades while the Kylie one was criticized for the opposite reason; It is all personal preference. There are duds in both palettes. If you want the too faced palette’s peachy shades without the highlights, browns, and patchy purples, this palette would be a better fit. I think this is a complementary palette, meaning that it would work better if you already had a neutral matte palette unless you like light eye looks.
The brush is ok but fragile; a hair fell out the first time I used it and the remaining hairs tend to frizz up. All three palettes have rather powdery formulas which is acceptable for me since the too faced shadows also have duds. I feel that for the amount of product and quality of eyeshadows, the first two palettes are worth it. A good but pricey alternative for the bronze palette would be the viseart neutral matte palette or too faced semi sweet and the abh modern renaissance for the burgundy; keep in mind that the burgundy palette has more product even if it does have fewer shades.

My Kyshadow palettes were bought from the Kylie Cosmetics site, so I know that they are the real deal. The shadows are okay in that they aren’t too hard, there’s not much fallout, and I can make them work for me decently. However while I can’t deny that the shade selections are pretty, none of the shades in either palette apply anywhere near as dark as they appear in the pans, and it is time consuming to build the colour up as the blendability of the shadows is on the dodgy side; when I attempt look with 3 or more shades, everything will sort of fade and muddy together the more that you try to blend the shadows, so you need to keep on adding more and more product and taking even more time working with them. A pain, but workable with patience. Using a good primer is a must with these palettes.
If the palettes were cheaper and easier to buy, I’d be tempted to go up a lippie and recommend giving one a try, as the mix of shades & finishes in each one is lovely. But at the price they are currently sold at, I’m going to advise giving the palettes a miss, as the price you see on screen is already too much for the product quality, and then there is shipping, and tax & customs to be added = we’re going past the mid level price range and going into high-level territory, which is a level of quality that this palette just not does not have. Add to that the poor customer service, long shipping times [3 weeks for me], and a no-return policy, and it’s all a NO from me.
I don’t normally have anything against Kylie Jenner, but here we aren’t certainly aren’t paying for the quality, or being charged extra for fancy packaging (the card packaging used is very similar to BH Cosmetics palettes, and the palettes also doesn’t come with a brush or sponge applicator, so I think it’s simply a case of paying for the name. Chanel, Dior, YSL etc can back their paying-for-the-designer-name beauty ranges up with top-notch quality, but Kylie Cosmetics can’t; I don’t have to spend so much time and effort on applying shadows from other brands at the medium or higher price level, so I’m annoyed that this brand has the nerve to put itself at such a lofty price point, when it can’t deliver a comparable quality to anything else at the same level.

For $42, Kylie could put in a better palette design, but in a way, I like these glazed cardboard palettes. They are compact and they are recyclable. The pans are in magnetically but there is no hole to push them out. I found this out by dropping it, pans popped out but could pop back in and I felt the grab of the magnet.
You get 9 shadows in burgundy and golds, some are matte, some are shimmer. The colors range from a champagne tan to a deep burgundy matte. The color names are on the back.

Naked (satin finish golden sand), Beach (matte finish light warm brown), Penny (matte finish red orange), LA (metallic finish true copper), Burgundy (matte finish bright red burgundy), Dubai (metallic finish burgundy), Brick (matte finish dirty brick), NY (metallic finish warm bronze), Almond (matte finish deep red brown).
Brick in particular is a good crease color. NY (bronze shimmer) is a good lid color. There are many tutorial/reviews on YouTube to copy, but generally, you can do a brick or burgundy crease with shimmer on lid and it looks good. The color payoff is excellent. Some say that the BH Marbles Warm collection is similar–it is, but the colors are so chalky and unpigmented, I got a muddy look and it wasn’t useful at all.
The Kylie Royal Peach is a nice palette–has a mirror and a goat-hair brush (a bit fuzzy, not the best brush I’ve used, but passable.) The colors range from light greenish yellow shimmer and mauve shimmer, to peach pinks–pale peach, bright pink peach, brick and a shimmery burgundy. And a matte royal cobalt blue. I wear it a lot–the shimmer shades need packing on the lid or they don’t show (use primer) but the pinks stay on well. I usually do a peach over the eyelid – browbone and one of the bright pinks or brick in the crease. Sometimes pack on a shimmer shade middle of the lid.
A way to avoid the price of shipping is to make sure you order over $40 (so order your lip products at the same time.) The shipping is ridiculous otherwise. Having avoided all the Kardashian hype for years, I am sad to say, I am a fan and the makeup is very stylish. I found a few lip colors I love and enjoy using them. I think this palette is unique enough to justify it.

What baloney. I spent $42 for a piece of cardboard and cheap eyeshadows. I returned it. Plus I hate it when companies allow their private information to get out to the public. Spatz Labs has a terrible reputation here in LA. It would be one thing if she was selling this palette for under $20, but she’s selling it for $42.

So this is a review I’ve been wanting to write for a while now because I feel like this is a very coveted palette and it’s very hyped up. I got it a few days ago and have been playing around with it and if I’m honest, it’s not GREAT. Yes, the colors are beautiful but the actual palette is smaller than I thought it would be and the pigment and the pay off aren’t incredible. They blend fairly easily, but it seems like when you blend different colors they all just blend together to be one and you just don’t end up with quite the eye look you were expecting. Overall, I do like this palette because I love Kylie and I LOVE the colors, but comparing to other eyeshadows it really isn’t anything special. I have found too faced to be my favorite shadows, as well as makeup geek and smashbox– so I’d say if you don’t like Kylie and don’t want it for the name, spend your money on those other brands that have similar colors.

I have both The Bronze (not the first batch) and The Burgundy palette, and both are very consistent in terms of quality.
The Bronze palette is great if you’re looking for an everyday neutral toned everyday palette, the light matte eyeshadow is very pigmented and is excellent as a base and the black shadow as great as an eyeliner/smokey looks, it’s really universally flattering, the shimmery shades are quite subtle.
The Burgundy palette is more of a supporting warm toned palette with lots of bold and really shimmery colours, the shimmery shades reflect the light brilliantly!
Pros:
-Smooth texture
-very pigmented but easy to blend
-light packaging
Cons:

I have The Bronze Palette & from the birthday collection the Copper cream KyShadow. I must admit that her bronze palette is quite similar to the BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo palette so if you are looking for a cheaper more widely available dupe I suggest that one. I bought both of my Kyshadows products from a private seller; I really despise how quick her restocks sell out! The shadows last a long time & are buttery soft, blendable & highly pigmented. The $8.95 S&H if you do order from the site is killah. I’m a big fan of this makeup. NOT KUWTK–2 separate things! This is the palette I reach for most often. The colors aren’t revolutionary but they are lovely nonetheless. The cream shadow doesn’t crease on me so I’m happy about that since I have very oily skin. High quality products!!
