I have this in the shade Tea for Two which is a shimmery taupe and matte cream, and I’ve been reaching for this more than some of my other high end palettes because of its simplicity. I found with the taupe color it took a few uses plus a bit of scraping for it to show up but once it did the two work really well to make a basic neutral eye with no creasing and lasts very well through out the day. It’s also very travel friendly and small enough to keep in your purse if you like to touch up your shadow throughout the day. I do find it’s a bit powdery, but it’s not really that noticeable so I won’t knock off a lippie

So excited to finally see these at my local WalMart that I picked up 2 of these: Peach Squad and Pink Pal. Peach Squad has a strong peach and a shimmery copper/gold shade – beautiful compliment on my blue/green eyes that literally makes them pop! The other duo has a pale pink and cool-toned brown that is nice for a minimalistic every day look. Both duos have good pigmentation, little kickback, and wear well for many hours. Packaging is minimal, cheap, but I don’t travel with these so it’s fine, and I’d much rather not have useless applicators or tiny mirrors in the package which increases size/bulk. What especially draws me to these duos is that I have hooded eyes and can’t really rock multiple shadows like those with more generous lids can so shadow duo sets are perfect for me, especially since I will use highlighter for inner corners or under the brow bone if I’m in the mood. If you like any of the combos I’d recommend picking these up, they are a hidden drug store gem. Very inexpensive and good quality.

I bought two of these duos shortly after they came out: Peach Squad and Pink Pal. I wish I’d picked up Tea for Two as well.
Peach Squad is the duo I most wanted. I needed a peach matte shade, my eyes are slightly hooded so my go to is mattes in/above the crease a bit with a straight or upward angle, then blended down the outside to the lash line. This duo in includes a matte, medium orangey peach and a medium shimmery, bronze-gold. I normally don’t wear darker shimmers or bronzes, so going in I expected to get one personally usable shade here. These are both warm shades. I prefer more contrast in color depth when I’m using two shades, but I only really intended to use the peach matte in any case.
Pink Pal includes a light shimmery pink and a medium taupe both of which are slightly cool toned. This is really my typical look in one duo – a light shimmery shade on the lid as a taupe in my typical crease placement.
The reason I didn’t buy Tea for Two is tr pink shade in Pink Pal looked so similar and I m pretty set for white/cream mattes right now. When I pan some this will go on my to-buy list because I like the formula.
The shimmers are slightly sheer but build well with minimal fallout (if you use a nice dense brush). If I put them too high I get a bit of inner lid crepe going on but I’m 38, so…They are nice and smooth feeling as well.
The mattes are really lovely, smooth and soft but not so powdery that they blend into nothing and get muddy. These stay where you out them while still blending nicely and build really well while being quite pigmented to start. There a little powder kick up but I just tap my brush into them and don’t dig around – I don’t really need to!
Everything wears well and is long lasting – I always use ELF’s primer under eyeshadow.
These duos are 3 g, so each pan is 1.5 grams. $3 total. Can’t go wrong there. The duo case is thin plastic (the lid feels particularly fragile) with a clear lid, no brush, no mirror. I prefer my shadows that way in any case. I often just depot anyway! ELF is definitely putting the money in the formula here.
Really liking these, recommend them and I will certainly repurchase them.
