I am such a sucker for Dior shadows…they never fall out on me and are so creamy smooth and easy to blend. I have several of their palettes but this is one I reach for anytime I want a navy/violet smokey eye look, pairs so well with nude lips!

The instant I swatched this on my hand I knew it had to be mine. The overall looks I get are more violet then blue when I use them together, except for the stunning deep blue liner. I can wear this day or night. They are deliciously blendable in texture but not powdery. This is a splurge item that I will enjoy for years to come. I feel blessed to have this and would definitely purchase more quints form CD. <3

I am only sad I didn’t try this sooner.
I have searched every brand looking for the right blue.
This is just gorgeous. Every color is truly usuable.
I apply it as they showed me in the booklet.
I never wear really heavy eye make-up.
I apply it with a very light hand to keep it sheer.
This is a must have if you love blue tones.

This is a classy palette and the colors are gorgeous. Definitely not your 80s blue eye shadow.
I’ve never gotten hugely excited over any brand eye shadow but have to say Christian Dior shadows is one of the best.
Buttery formula and you don’t have to use a lot as its richly pigmented and the iridescent colors have finely milled glitter so a touch is even suitable for daytime. Lasts all day with no creasing.

In short – great eye shadow palette. The colors go nicely together in this navy color scheme. Long lasting, highly pigmented, blends smoothly, has an instruction booklet on how to do the smoky eye look, and chic compact. It’s on the pricier scale but worth it because it’s effortless and pretty. Love the colors because they all go so well together. And even the lighter colors are pigmented with strong staying power. A great product compared to others.

The quality of this product is great. The colours are very true.
I usually tend to buy Dior products because I have sensitive eyes.
This palette is wonderful for going out at night. Unfortunately I can only wear the cream liner during the day.

I was very attracted to the colors in this palette. I didn’t initally want to purchase it because of the price but I was wondering around Sephora looking for a nice eyeshadow and I kept coming back to this one. Eventually I just dove in and bought it. I have to admit that I was initially somewhat disappointed when I got home and discovered that these shadows don’t have as much pigment as you would expect in an expensive palette. I was very pleased with the colors however. The middle shade is a beautiful lilac color and the darker blue is actually a violet blue. Very pretty and flattering colors, especially on brown eyes.
If you are going out in the daytime you can use all of these shades just as they are, right on your bare lids. Once you blend with a blending brush you will be left with a nice soft wash of color that looks very nice for daytime wear. Now if you’re like me and you like to glam up your eyes now and again and you like your eyeshadow to pack a punch then there is a way to still use this palette and get stunning results. First of all put a primer all over your lids, then take the navy cream liner and spread it across your lower lids. I put a very thin layer on, if you put a heavier layer on you will get even more dramatic results. Once you have the liner nicely blended all over your lids, simply apply the other shades over top and watch those colors pop! The effect is almost too much but once you blend it all in with a brush you will be amazed at the beautiful smokey eyes you can create with this. Lastly put on the silver shine wherever you want it. Since I’m older, I only put a tiny bit on my lids only, but I usually don;’t use it all.

This is an excellent quallity product, very elegant and classy. I bought it because I really was into blues-navys and I really wanted a good quality eye shadows palette. I loved the eyeliner wich is a very dark navy almost black, its super creamy and soft, not as pigmented as others eyeliners. Almost all of the colors arent that pigmented, wich I really didn’t like. Im a warm girl, and i realized that these shades aren’t good for me. I prefer more gold particles than silver. The cream shade (down left) is not even a “color” its more like a light dust and it has violet particles.. can’t use it even as a high ligther..
I think the best color ir que upper left wich is like a dark blue with gray undertone.
I recomend to use this palette for a very fancy event, or diner.. or to go out. not recomended for a day time.
I will give this to my mom! Im sad this colors are not flattering on me!
What a pitty!

This is my sixth Dior eyeshadow quint and they continue to thrill me. The quality, color arrangements, and formulas are consistently fabulous. I love the Designer compacts because there’s a mixture of textures and finishes. It’s very versatile in so many ways. The powders apply so densely, so I need barely any on my brush to get a rich application. And they’re incredibly silky and pigmented. None of the colors in this appear navy to me at all; in my opinion the name is misleading. I think of navy as being buttoned up, conservative, and basic. An often navy eyeshadows can be very dark and difficult to wear. This is a beautifully luminous palette, and none of the colors are navy by any means.
The white is a cream formula, intended as an all over base, or a highlight for the inner eye corners and browbone. It’s a golden-white with micro-fine pink and gold glimmer with the luster of a pearl. Non-greasy with a silky finish that actually dries. It isn’t as adhesive as an actual primer, but it does help the other colors stay put longer and provides a lovely foundation for the any other shadows.
The center blue powder shadow is my favorite. It’s the violet-blue of an iris flower. There’s a very fine shimmer, and it absolutely glows on the eyelid. It’s incomparable.
The mid-tone powder blue shadow on the upper left has a similar shimmer finish. There’s some violet in this as well, of a much darker variety so the color looks like a stormy cobalt. But it’s still very much a blue. Just a more interesting version of it.
The cream liner is a midnight blue, probably the closest to navy that this palette will get. It’s not exactly shimmery, but there’s a glinting finish that looks subtly luminescent. Even in my matte cream liners, I dislike a flat, rubbery looking finish. This is one step away from being matte, and nowhere close to being dull or flat. It doesn’t budge or transfer throughout the day. Truthfully, I never expect much in mixed palettes when a cream liner is included. Usually they’re inferior in quality from the rest of the palette. But this is one of the better cream liner’s I’ve used.
The upper right powder isn’t really a powder. I’m not sure what could accurately describe it. It’s ethereal and light, and basically just applies like a dusting of loose shimmer. Not glitter, or even micro-glitter. It doesn’t have the particle quality. It’s more like they removed the shimmer from their typical powder shadows and left it suspended somehow in powder form. It’s not a color exactly, more like a misting of silvery blue shimmers. A tiny dab with a fluffy brush covers the entire eyelid from base to browbone. It looks so gorgeous. I usually limit that to evening and use it mainly on the browbone, or even my collarbones.
I can go on about how stunning and beautiful this is, but really it’s one of those products I think you have to try to love. The store displays are always gummed up from people sticking their fingers in to test it, so I don’t feel they’re an accurate representation of the actual beauty of the product. I bought this on faith alone, because if the testers at Sephora and Nordstrom’s had been true to form I would have passed this up.

This is the BEST blue palette ever! Most of blues turn out greyish blue. But this one has a little bit blue/purple hint. Very unique and different. I use all five colors. I love it.
