So to be honest, I’m not the hugest of Clinique fans, but when Ulta started carrying the line I found myself mosy-ing over to see if I could find an eyeshadow that would work as an every day shadow. Mind you, I’d been on the search for one and had tried a few different ones that either ended up in the drawer of unloved products or returned for one reason or another. This one is NOT going back. On me (NC20, coaxed med blonde, neut/yellow undertone, blue eyes) this is the perfect peachy-champagne color that I have tried to but never found! It doesn’t go too pink or too orangy when I swipe on my eye – it stays this gorgeous champagne-coppery neutral color that just makes my eyes look alive and pops the blue- and NOT tired. Goes on satin smooth and while shimmery, it’s a soft shimmer that doesn’t make my hooded eyes look worse. YAY. I am not kidding when I tell you, I bought M.A.C, Too Faced, UD, MUFE, etc., etc but just never hit the nail on the head with what I was looking for… until this one. Well done, Clinique.

Got in a gwp and fell in LOVE! Gorgeous satiny shadow in a peachy, copper satin. They call it a super shimmer, and it does shimmer but not over the top. This is aging eyelid friendly, no lizardy shiny crepe lid texture, just a smooth satiny glow.
Texture is superb, creamy smooth. Blends like a dream. No catching or patchy bits.
It does fade a tiny bit after 8 to 10 hours, but so do I! And since I don’t bother with primer, your mileage may be better that way. Even so, it still shows well after a long day!!!
Good overall shade. Probably best on warm tone skin, I’m a redhead, about NC 15 – 20 or so so judge from that.
I loved it so much I ran out & got a full size shadow. I’ve been using pretty steady in rotation with my other favourites. It blends well with all 3 of my Estee Lauder palettes; Ivory Power, Fiery Saffron & Fierce Safari as well as my matte singles; Earthly Taupe by Maybelline & NYX Lapdance and Leather & Lace.
