   This is one of the first pallets I ever bought. Not being big into makeup I thought I’d save the cash and go low end to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised! Great pigmentation, and it does last with primer. After being into makeup for some time I still go back to this pallet. It’s one of my “go to’s”

   Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. These shadows have very good pigmentation and the colors are very wearable. The metallic sheen isn’t too shimmery and I didn’t need any primer. And it was only $1 at Dollar Tree. Excellent value.

   I found these at my local Dollar General. I was very suprised at the pigmentation and staying power! I just used my cheapo elf eyelid primer with these and the colors stayed on all day with no creasing! My only gripes with this is that the packing is pretty flimsy. They won’t do much to protect the shadows. If you drop it, this palette is done for. Also, I don’t like how it powder ‘crumbles’ with each brush stroke and there would be powder flying everywhere. I just wish is was more densely packed. But not complaining at the very least. I’m happy with it. Every easy to wear, work-friendly colors that you really can’t go wrong with. Try it. : )

   I really love these 6 color metallic palettes from LA Color. LA Color has become my top 3 fav makeup brands (the other two being WetnWild & ELF) but i can find LA Colors luckily in a few stores around me so ive collected a bunch of their makeup & these palettes are really awesome.
   Cafe Au Lait is a great neutral palette that is great for all year round.
   PRICE/AVAILABILITY- i paid $1 for this palette yea its unreal for $1 you get 6 shades which are about the size of a nickel. I find my LA Colors products @ Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar & ive also seen some on cherryculture.
   SHADES/FORMULA- formula on these is pretty good. all 6 shades do contain a metallic finish. to them. its not chunky glitter but more of a metallic finish. they are all pretty well pigmented. ive read some reviews & some say they dont show up at all but ive not experienced that. now some are def less pigmented but these all show up well on my lids. id suggest using a primer (i love the LA Colors Concealer as an eye primer- its amazing for that, also the Elf Eyelid primer they both will help w// the pigmentation & the staying power.) also using a cream base will help. these tend to show up alot better when they got a cream base to stick to. with those, i dont have any creasing or fading for at least 6-7 hours. i dont have oily lids though. All six shades in Cafe Au Lait are great for neutral eyes & the darker shades help to make a smoky eye.
   The top 3 shades are lighter ranging from a white w/ a golden undertone, a biege sand, to a light bronze. the bottom 3 shades are a darker bronze, a milk chocolate brown to a darker brown almost black brown. i love each shade esp the darker shades but all are wonderful. i dont use them all in one look since i do like using matte shadows to add texture.
   PACKAGING- now these come in a plastic square compact with a snap close lid thats see thru. the plastic is sturdy enough that this wont break that easily. it does have the LA COLORS logo on the front & then on the glossy black backening, the logo & shade label is located. the packaging isnt the prettiest but its simple & does the job. i care more about the product & i like the see thru top since i can tell the diff between the few palettes i got like this one. i have a few more shades but i think Cafe Au Lait is the best since i love my neutrals!

   Overall i love Cafe au lait for making a daytime & nighttime smoky looks. they are all so pretty! i have plenty of choices to make so many looks with just $1 palette! i love LA Colors for making these great palettes. i wish there was matte shades included but as a makeup hoarder i have enough to add to. these are simple, compact, great for traveling & with 6 diff shadows to choice from- i love em! these are great esp for beginners wanting to play around with makeup. i love em!
   esp because LA COLORS is one of the few companies that are CRUELTY FREE as well as super affordable for hard working girls that want great makeup! a great add to my eyeshadows! i love it & have bought a back up of this palette since i really love the bottom two shadows!

   I bought these for a dollar and based on reviews, I was expecting them to be a great value…but they weren’t. Don’t get me wrong, LA Colors has some great $1 items but these shadows aren’t one of them. They swatch nicely, smooth and metallic without the glitter. The problem is that they don’t apply well & look horrible when you use them on your lids. They are chalky, powdery, poorly pigmented and looked spotty no matter what kind of base or primer I used. Not nearly as nice as the loose shadows.

   I love this<3 I bought this palette at a local Dollar tree store. at first I didn't know what to do with it. Since i have blue eyes the goldens in this palette are amazing. I don't know why people say you can't get any color. This is what I do, On the second row i use the first Golden brown for my lid and the dark brown color next to it for the crease and on the first row, 3rd color the pinky color i use for the outer lid. and it looks gorgeous. Goldens, Bronzes, And neutrals really compliment my blue eyes. give it a go!

   I honestly don’t see how this brand gets good reviews.
   I am a huge makeup snob. Not to say high end brands always come out on top – ELF is one of my favorites and can easily compete with many expensive brands.
   But oh my god, this stuff is AWFUL. I bought this last year at my local dollar store and it’s hardly worth the dollar I spent on it.
   I was really excited since I love neutrals and this had a decent selection of colors.

   It was beyond disappointing. The sponge applicator it comes with is by far the worst cheap sponge applicator I’ve ever used. It doesn’t distribute color and was sandpaper to my eyelid. (This was before I used brushes but the lack of pigmentation is so awful it wouldn’t have made a difference.)
   On that note, none of the colors bothered to show up. Or if I dug deep enough, it was completely uneven and would only show on half my eye.
   The texture is really nonexistent. It never went on my skin nearly enough to be able to tell. It was almost like a pseudo half stain of faded color.

   It was a useless product. I used drugstore brands for many years and encountered many losers but this was one of the worst.

   This palette alone chased me off from the entire line of makeup from LA Colors.

   Don’t even waste your dollar. You’re better off buying ELF for the same price and it’s fantastic.

   I bought this a Dollar Tree when I was first starting makeup (I’m 12 btw) at first I loved it. Very beautiful colors, perfect for a neutural eye for any tween. But now that I raised my standards (lol) I see the cons:

   – Too powdery
   – Not pigmented enough
   – Hurts the rash that I have above my eye.

   I won’t purchase again because there are eyeshadows from elf that are better.

    This is a awesome product for only $1 the colors are soo pigmented and the compacked is well made, I always thought that they were cheap and i would never bye those but now that i have tried one i love it and will have to go bye more. i hope this was helpful and have a nice day
