I found these to be really nice. The colors blend well and the blushes are different. My issue is that I’m super cool toned and these are definitely not my colors so it takes a very specific look to use these. I’d recommend these for neutral to warm toned people. But I thought they were high pigmentation and very blendable.

This review is for the BH Cosmetics Blushed Neutrals, 26 color eye shadow and blush palette. There are 21 eye shadows and 5 blushes. The quality of the makeup is poor. The eye shadows are powdery with little pigmentation and lots of fallout. Color is not long lasting even with eye primer. The blushes are not better. There is one light peachy shade that does not show up on my fair skin. The other 4 colors are so garish and clownish. I returned this palette.

I’m very happy with my purchase but I can definitely understand why people would hate this.
The palette: There are a variety of mattes and shimmers/glitters and the pigmentation is definitely hit and miss (with a brush, it will range from light to good pigmentation). I find they do have a some of kick up and some fall out. They’re quite powdery – too powdery. i.e. if you want to use multiple shades then imo it will easily become a muddy mess because it is easy to over blend. There are brown/mauves/oranges and 1 light pink e/s shade. In my opinion, most of the colors are mid toned to dark. Also, I’ve noticed the mattes don’t tend to blend as well as the shimmers. They can be a bit patchy.
How I use this: I’m warm/neutral, fair (NC 20). Firstly I always use primer. I then use the left most blush as the base for which the other e/s would sit on top of. There are plenty of neutral mid tone colors which I use basically as an all over eyelid shade. The less pigmented shades – I just build up with layers. I usually top with a light gold shimmer gold on top of the middle of the eyelid. I just pat it on. Then I top with eyeliner, setting spray and I’m good to go.
The 2nd and 3rd from the left blushes I use as such. The 2 right blushes are too dark, I’ll probably use as eyeshadows. I’m not sure yet how I’d use the light pink e/s but tbh if it’s just a few shades I won’t use, it’s still a bargain.
I have quite a few palettes with amazing pigmentation but frankly some are a bit tricky to wear to work because I spend so much time blending the color down for a professional work environment. I actually have been looking for easy ‘1 and done’ eyeshadows which are quick, non complicated and affordable. This is my first BH purchase and I am quite pleased. I must also admit I haven’t had much experience with drug store/cheaper m/u so I can’t compare to e.g. Loreal/Nyx/Covergirl etc.
But if you’re looking for vibrant looks, or would like to use multiple shades then I recommend staying away from this palette. It’s too easy to over blend.
EDIT 7/4/17: There are some colors which are similar to MAC shades – Woodwinked, and Amber Lights. The swatches are found here: (Only those 2 are accurate, the others are different since it is from the Coastal scents palette).
EDIT 13/11/17: Too many hits and misses. I’m not enjoying this as much as I thought I did. I find some colors swatch better than they apply. I spend so much time blending but some of the e/s look very patchy and don’t blend well. A lot of colors just end up looking very muddy on me, even one of the mauve shades which looks brown somehow (?) even with a white base! I think I will take this palette apart and only keep the shades I want. 1 lippie removed. 🙁

I have tried many eye shadow palettes from BH and am not impressed by any of them. I have been wearing makeup for almost 40 years and these are junk in my opinion. The pigmentation is not that great and they go on providing very little color that is hard to build. They also don’t blend as easily as many other shadows. I am not sure why this is getting high reviews from some at all. In my opinion it is a terrible product.
For the price I would choose Wet n Wild Color Icon shadows over these any day.

I really like some of the shadows, but the pigmentation is not consistent. For $10, I’m not upset, just have to remember which colors work. I like the light pink blush for an eyebrow highlight. Overall, okay.

Great color variety for a natural/earthy looks. I don’t use any of the blushes for my cheeks but rather I use them as shadows because the colors don’t blend well on the face. The lightest blush is great for a eyeshadow base and makes the other colors so much more blendable. Super cheap, great buy!

The colors look nice and some of them are nice, but I don’t like how it applies on my lid or my cheeks. It’s very bright colors but they don’t seem to stick or blend very well. This brand is great for beginners to experiment! It’s also affordable, but I will not be repurchasing.

The color variety is awesome! All the neutral colors you’ll ever need in one palette. Very pigmented. Great starter kit for everyday wear. Worth every penny! Excellent customer service too!
