This is a fairly good primer however I am slightly disappointed given GOSH’s good reputation for drugstore/highstreet primers. The consistency of the formula is very nice and isn’t too watery or thick and the metallic roll-on application balls are very innovative for a primer. The product has a lovely cooling sensation when applying to the eye area as a result of the design which I personally like and very much lives up to the “refresh” claim as in the title. As for prolonging the wear of eyeshadows and/or eyeliners: it’s mediocre. I don’t find it to help extend the longevity of my eyeliner at all and with my oily eyelids that is a must, however I do find that it helps my eyeshadow last about 1-2 hours longer than without primer but that isn’t all that great. It does smooth out the eyelid and creates a nice base for eyeliner and eyeshadow, I also find that it does help intensify both. For the £7.99 price tag however, I wouldn’t say it is very much worth it, I find it to be very similair to MUA’s pro-base primer which is almost one third of the price.
Overall, this is not a product that I would find myself repurchasing but it does feature some nice qualities.
