I received this product this past month in my Ipsy bag and have been using it for loose shadows & pigments or shadows that don’t show up well without a primer & this primer works amazing with those products because it’s a skin colored, thick (but not too thick), sticky base. I didn’t check for myself how much it cost but I see that it’s supposedly expensive. I do have a tip though! ***It was either Ross or TJ Maxx that had a set of 3 pigments & this primer for about $10-$15 (sorry I can’t remember the exact price because this was 9 months ago) It’s a great deal if you take into account how much these products are otherwise & theyre really great products so I suggest checking out your local Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, ect to see if they might have MicaBeauty there & it’s usually sets & at great prices. Especially when there messed up boxes they’ll mark them down even more & the product inside is perfectly fine! I wish to try more from this brand & I thank Ipsy that I’ve been able to try this product along with MicaBeauty shimmer powders & gel liner. Check out my reviews for those too!

I received this little eye primer in a pot with an IPSY bag. I had never heard of this brand before getting this in my monthly bag. At first, I was like, yeah another primer whatever… but then I started using it. I didn’t like the little pot method as it requires me to dip a finger in to get any product out and with long nails that is not a good way to try to apply a product. After having one break and cutting them down, I found this much easier to get to and get on my lid with ease. The product seems a bit dry and firm in comparison to the NYX eye base in a pot that I have been using and love but it applies smoothly and evenly. I like that the shade is skin tones instead of stark white. I have been using this for a month now and I have started reaching for it instead of my usual primers (Urban Decay, Smashbox, ELF, NYX) and it actually seems to perform better. It does not crease or cake up and it does not make my skin look crepey. It holds the shadow color for hours and it holds it in place. I still have some trouble with smudging and undereye shadow wanting to migrate giving me dark undereye circles but I have never found a product yet that will prevent that and I feel like that is simply my body chemistry and eye movement plus sweat beneath my glasses that prevents it from staying precisely put so no fault of the primer. I am really impressed with this little primer and I would love to purchase it for full time use except it’s a bit pricey. There is a website for Mica Cosmetics but I couldn’t get the page to load, but I did find this on Amazon for $29 for 8.3 gm. of product. My little sample pot is 4 gm. and is a generous size and I expect it to last throughout the summer if not longer. It doesn’t take much product to hold the shadow and I am really liking this product. I might buy this for the full price but then again I really like the NYX eye base for less than $10 which is essentially the same exact thing. I just don’t know if I want to pay 3 times as much for the same thing as it does work slightly better and has slightly longer holding power but it’s a bit pricey and it’s not THAT much better. I give NYX an A- and this an A. The difference is not that significant to justify the cost for me.
That said, I do love this stuff.

I recieved this in my Boxycharm and I am impressed with how long this primer made my shadows last This is serious stuff and kept them bright and going for well over 2 hours. They never faded or looked different.
It comes in a glass jar, which I don’t care for, but it’s fine. It’s not too slippery or too thick. I find it’s just right texture wise. The only complaint I have is the crazy price for this! $45.95! WHAT?! it’s 0.3 oz! I would never buy this. I will stick with Fergie Stay All Day and Too Faced. This is great primer but wow, no, the 45 price tag is a BIT much.
