This is great to keep my shadow on my oily lids. Keeps the colours nice and bright.
I mainly use this for making eyeliner out of eyeshadows. Once on it will not budge until I oil cleanse at night. All day from 7am until midnight. It is the only thing that has lasted and looks as fresh as when I applied.
I bought this to see if an eye primer would work for me. It works great and I am not interested in trying other brands as this does what I want it to do. Obv if my skin type changes or the company changes the formula then the search will be on.

I really tried to like this. I tried it with a MAC painterly paint pot underneath and I tried it alone.
Yes my shadow was still there at the end of the day. But no where near as vibrant.
I guess I had high expectations for this and it just didn’t work for me. I’ll probably try the NYX glitter primer next.

I really like this shadow transformer. I don’t have any clue why Makeup Revolution decided to call this an “eye primer” because it does not prime at all. It’s the same liquid that comes with their metallic cream shadows to foil those on the lid. I use this for foiling and for wetting shadow for liner. It is a runnier consistency than Inglot Duraline, but it performs very similarly. I like the dropper on this product since it lets you use just a little at a time since all you need is a couple of drops. If you can’t get your hands on Duraline, this is a good alternative in my opinion.

I felt compelled to write a review for this primer – it’s so, so good!
My eyes are both oily and a little hooded, so getting eye make up to stay in place is a nightmare!
This stuff is now my holy grail. It keeps my shadow in place all day – my makeup barely budges, however busy I am. Nothing has worked as well as this for me, and it’s such a bargain too. A great product.

it took a little while for me to understand how to use it, but once I got the hang of it I fell in love. it works so well and even with oily eye lids, my eye make up stays in place all day. Works great all night too.

Wonder product and such a great price!
I’ve used creamy eye primers before to make eye shadow last longer, but I’ve never had a primer which makes your makeup waterproof. This is a liquid primer which can be a bit tricky to use but worth it for the end results. I put a couple of drops of this onto my eyelids and massage into my lids and lashes with fingertips. It takes a minute or so to set and feels really sticky while it’s drying. Once it’s dried it’s like there’s nothing on your eyes at all.
This product works really well to keep eyeliner and mascara in place, especially if you’re not using waterproof products. It makes eye makeup last a lot longer than normal and makes eye shadows a lot more pronounced. I think this product is a little bit too much for every day, but is great for a night out when you’re doing more elaborate eye makeup and want to make sure it lasts.
It does mean that your makeup is more difficult to get off so make sure you have a good quality makeup remover. I found that using waterproof eyeliner and this stuff makes it virtually impossible to budge! So maybe stick to non-waterproof makeup if using this primer. Great for a night out though when you don’t want your makeup to smudge.
I purchased this primer for £3 in Superdrug and it’s lasted forever as you only need to use a couple drops at a time. Would really recommend this product, great problem-solver to keep in your makeup bag.

This is my current favorite cheap primer. I think some people left negative reviews because they don’t understand how to apply it. If it’s running down your face, you’re using way too much. Put a drop or two on the back of your hand and dab it on your eyelids, then let it dry. The process is the same when you use it as a sealer. It grips color really well, so sometimes it takes more time to blend, but if I use it as a primer and a sealer my eyeshadow stays on even in the shower, which is pretty amazing for a 6$ primer. The only con(aside from making eyeshadow slightly tougher to blend) is that the dropper has to be wiped off, otherwise it can more or less glue the cap to the bottle and make it almost impossible to open, but it’s pretty easy to avoid and the performance of the product itself more than makes up for it.

As a Makeup Revolution fan I was excited to try this. I shouldn’t have been. As an eyelid primer I suppose it’s not too bad. But it does state you can use it OVER your eye shadow to lock it in. Don’t! As soon as you start patting this over your eye shadow it just takes it straight off. Not good when you’ve spent time and effort perfecting your eye makeup.

I have no idea what on earth this primer does? I have tried endless numbers of primers and never have I seen anything with the formulation of this aqua seal primer.
When you squeeze it out of the tube it is like water, then you touch it with your finger and the only way I can describe this is that it feels like oil. Not vegetable oil, but the kind you would put in your hair.
The first claim is that it is a primer to use under eyeshadow. When using this you have to be so sparing or you’ll find it running down your face. I put a small drop on my finger and then dabbed it onto my eyelid where it proceeded to REMOVE ALL OF MY CONCEALER AND FOUNDATION?!?!?!?!
I then tested it as a sealant because the products next claim is that you can wear it over the top of your eyeshadow to seal it….. however all this sealant did was remove all of my eye makeup. I have never been more confused by a product in my life.
I then decided that I would truly test it out because I like to think of myself as some kind of makeup investigator. I applied it to just one of my eyelids and then applied my eyeshadow the same on both eyes to test whether it really did improve the longevity.
It did nothing…. although this is a super super super cheap product, you may as well use a drop of argon oil instead because it is probably the most pointless thing I have ever purchased!

I was a bit dubious about this product. Something that’s £3 can’t be that good, right? Well I actually think this primer is one of the best I’ve tried. It’s like a glue for your eyeshadow. The only complaint I have is that maybe it’s a bit too sticky, glittery shadows seem to stick to it quite a bit which makes it hard to blend and sometimes mascara on the eyelid can be hard to remove.
