I got this product at the Lise Watier annual sale for a pretty good price, and I was happy because I love micellar water. I’m a huge fan of Bioderma H20 so I was looking forward to trying this one. As far as micellar water go, this one remove the makeup pretty well. However, when I remove eye makeup with this one, it stings my eyes a little. Also, when removing lip makeup, it taste bad. So, for those two reasons, I prefer the Bioderma micellar water, but if those two things don’t bother you, go ahead and buy it, it’s a good product 🙂

It’s a really nice, gentle makeup remover.
I find that some makeup removers feel greasy even when they say oil-free and leave behind a film on the skin.
The Lise Watier Probiotic Micellar water isn’t like that at all. It goes on nicely, is gentle, and there’s no feeling of product when it dries/no film.
It’s definitely at the top of my list for makeup removers.

This makeup remover contains no oil, alcohol and soap so it’s pure water. I love it because I can take off my makeup without extra rinsing. It takes off my makeup and my lipstick perfectly! Great product so glad they brought it back!

Just a background on how I use this:
I use this product to take off both my base and my eye makeup as I don’t wear that much. Then once a week, I do a deeper cleanse with Neutragena Fresh Face Foaming cleanser to get off all the extra makeup, dirt, residue and keep me clean w/o stripping my skin. I’m not sure if this would be strong enough to take off heavier makeup on a daily basis, though, so keep that in mind as this review is for removing pressed powder. Then in the morning, I use this to get off whatever sweat and oil built up overnight and ‘freshen’ my skin up.
Since incorporating this into my skin care regime, my skin feels softer, and looks clearer and brighter. I overdid it with laser treatments and as a result my skin became hella reactive and any cleanser I used would make my skin flame up and dry out (which actually made me break out more); this stuff doesn’t aggravate my skin but is still effective at removing makeup and toning my skin.
