   Inglot’s Milk & Tonic make-up remover wipes are paraben free and alcohol free. They are marketed for all skin types. Their website also states that the wipes are enriched with provitamin B5, bisabolol and chamomile extract. Inglot claims that these wipes are formulated to minimize the risk of allergies.

   I found these wipes to be especially gentle. I have very sensitive, reaction-prone skin, and these wipes caused me no problems. They are very soft, and not in the least bit abrasive. They are also very gentle on the eyes, and did not cause me any irritation whatsoever, even after wiping over my eye area multiple times.

   The wipes have a light floral fragrance. The scent does not remind me at all of milk and/or tonic. The scent, although very floral, is not strong or overwhelming.

   The make-up removing properties are neither great nor bad. The wipes will take off face makeup pretty well, but they tend not to work so good on long-lasting make-up like eyeliner and mascara. Each time I’ve used these wipes to remove eyeliner and mascara, they never remove it completely and I always have to follow-up with an oil-based cleanser. What’s ironic is that the wipes don’t remove Inglot’s own AMC liners.

   The wipes are reasonably priced compared to other non-drugstore wipes on the market. A pack of 25 wipes costs $8.00 in Canada.

   The wipes were well-saturated, and remained saturated to the end, even in my very hot bathroom. I didn’t use the wipes often and had the pack for several months. Nevertheless, even the very last wipe in the pack retained its moisture.

   Would I repurchase? Probably not, unless I was maybe in a pinch and had no alternative. I really liked that these wipes were so gentle and caused me no reaction; but unfortunately they don’t do that good of a job removing eye makeup.

   The fact that they don’t remove eye make-up so well also makes me question how thoroughly they are at removing face make-up too. Although it appeared to me that my face make-up came off, I can’t be sure that the wipes removed it entirely. I rely on wipes for those nights when I’m too tired to wash off my make-up, and I don’t feel confident that the Milk & Tonic wipes do the same thorough job as other wipes.

   I do believe Inglot’s claim that these wipes are formulated to not cause allergic reactions…I think people with skin that reacts badly to other facial wipes will enjoy this product.

   Also, although these wipes claim to be “alcohol free”, they do contain alcohols made from natural fats, like those found in coconut oil and palm oil.
