Had to try having seen Wayne’s video. Worked brilliantly for me. I usually layer my mascara but use this by itself for almost similar effect. Great everyday mascara. No flakes or smudging. Love the wand too, more control and precise use.

This mascara is OK but not amazing. When I first used it, I was impressed how natural it appeared without looking clumpy unless you over apply. The wand is weird, short bristles on one side and even shorter bristles on the other. Apparently you are suppose to carefully use one side first and then twirl it with the longer side to lift/curl lashes. This concept is daft because there is no point on trying to concentrate which side of the brush to use first when it makes no overall difference. My lashes also don’t stay curled up for long and the mascara can sometimes cling on to other lashes. I accidentally purchased it in dark brown but this colour is great to apply on my eyebrows. I don’t use brow pencils or brow gels – they look overdone and unnatural. A smidge of colour is all you need for a gentle expression.

My first tube of this little gem is on its way and so am I on the way to Boots to replace it happily and look at more of their products because this and define & conquer duo powders have exceeded my expectations. My eyelashes are mousy brown, short, pointing downwards, immune to the powder of eyelash curlers. They have always been non existent and my mission has always been searching for perfect mascaras. This does it all, it’s like a magic fairy that creates impressive volumised and extremely elongated look. I love the two sided brush, I use it as advised the flat side really pushes my eyelashes upwards and the thin side makes them look long, full and separated. You can layer it up as it dries perfectly, does not create fallout. No smudging, only thing would be that it may feel a bit sturdy and harsh but have a light hand unless your lashes are strong. I could not praise this product enough and the price is amazing x

I bought this mascara after I read a review from a make-up artist who mentioned this is one of his favourite mascara’s. Well, it might be his, but it’s not mine! If you have lovely eyelashes like the model on the packaging then this would be fab, but mind you any mascara would look great on those lashes! If however you are like me and try endless products and dream of lovely thick long lashes, this is not the mascara for you! I think Max Factor is probably one of the best around.

Adore this. Honestly one of the best mascaras I’ve bought from a drugstore. It’s really good for making your eyelashes super long whilst keeping them natural. Would totally recommend!!!

I also bought this because of my beloved Wayne. It is very cheap so there was not a lot to lose…
I found it does very well indeed with defining and lengthening my lashes but volume was particularly hard to build, which is not surprising given its defining qualities.
It lasted well through the day and I would have finished my tube if it weren’t for the fact that it makes my curl completely disappear in an instant.
All this comes from a Chanel Le Volume fanatic trying to find a cheap alternative, so YMMV if you’re not looking for great volume.

i have seen alot of great reviews on this mascara so i thought id try it for myself..i have been using it for a while now and have repurchased it twice. i think its a great lightweight everyday mascara..in my opinion i would say it lengthens more than volumes so if your looking for long lashes this is great for you!
Pros-
lightweight
doesn’t clump
buildable layers
great for lengthening
good jet black colour
good price
nice packaging
Cons-
can flake very very slightly during the day but not as much compared to other mascaras i have tried
not alot of volume or curl

I bought this mascara on a whim after my ‘They’re real’ dried up.
It’s less than a fiver and is seriously one of the best mascaras I have used! I have bought a couple more since just in case they discontinue it.
Would definitely recommend if you like your lashes like I do: length, each little lash coated and defined so you get that ‘lots of lashes’ look. I always recommend to anyone who’s looking for a new mascara.

This is my everyday mascara and I always keep a spare of this because it is a hassle free product. This mascara has never clumped for me and despite its thin brush it can build quite a bit of volume. It has long bristles which combs through my horribly messy lashes. Although it doesn’t hold curls as well (if you do curl your lashes), it does lengthen lashes very well and it has lasted me a long time. If you are buying from the store be careful to check what colour you are picking up because I have accidentally picked up the brown version (however the brown isn’t too light and can pass as black once your lashes are coated) It is semi easy to remove but I do add 3 drops of organic lavender oil to my mascara just to condition my lashes more and prevent them from becoming brittle
Pros
– Lasts a long time
– Lengthens well
– Volumises
– Does not clump
– Can layer well without the clumpy look (ive managed 3 layers)
– Good staying power (has not given me panda eyes at all)
– Cheap, good value, and good quality considering its price
– Hasn’t given my sensitive eyes any reactions (the only one which hasnt so far)
Cons
– packaging looks a bit cheap
– might not volumise as much for someone who wants lots of volume
– can feel crunchy after a while (it still looks nice and doesnt flake, just feels a bit brittle, unless you add lavender oil like me)
EDIT// I no longer use this mascara, however, I would still recommend this as a cheap mascara that works well, I often change mascaras so this decision isn’t due to a fault with the product.

I bought this based on Goss Makeup artists review on youtube, i was looking for a cheap drugstore mascara which would give me longer and thicker lashes, a bit like the benefit theyre real mascara. When i tried this, it was not as amazing as wayne goss had described but it was a pretty decent mascara. It did lengthen my lashes but not like the benefit one. Overall it was a good product, i really liked it and i would purchase it again.
