This stuff is amazing – it takes ALL of my eye makeup off. How do I know this? I use one cotton pad covered in product per eye, and then I go over that area again with a Neutrogena Makeup Remove Cleansing Towelette and there is no residual eye makeup that comes off on the wipe (because all of it was removed with the Eye Makeup Remover!) The only slightly annoying thing is that you have to shake up the bottle pretty well before each use, but it sure gets the job done. I will definitely be repurchasing once I finish the bottle I have, because it’s a decent price for something that totally works.

This is SO much better than the Nivea equivalent. It actually removes makeup – including waterproof mascara – with no scrubbing required, and once you shake it up to mix the two ingredients together, they actually stay mixed (unlike the Nivea version). It’s great value for money and like all products in the Simple range, it’s fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin. Would definitely repurchase this and would recommend it to anyone looking for an effective makeup remover that can easily tackle waterproof makeup too.

I’m not sure what the deal is with Simple, but as soon as I find items in their product line that I like, it seems they disappear from the store shelves. Their Dual Effect two-phase eye makeup remover is one of them. Apparently it is still available as it still has a page on their web site, so hopefully this review will be helpful to those who can still purchase it.
The product is a somewhat typical dual-phase makeup remover–a two part liquid that combines just long enough after a good shake so that it can be applied to a cotton square and wiped / dabbed on to the areas where makeup is to be removed. That can be around the eyes to remove waterproof concealer or mascara, or other areas of the face. I found this product to be quite good. Simple was better than a similar offering from Neutrogena, which caused irritation and didn’t remove makeup as easily. And it was on par with my current favorite, Cetaphil. When used generously, Simple easily removes waterproof makeup without harsh rubbing. It is non-irritating, fragrance-free and dye-free. The packaging is, well, simple. The flip top leaves much to be desired because it is nearly impossible to control how much or little is dispensed. I resorted to removing the cap, placing my cotton square on the bottle opening, and inverting a couple times to get a controlled amount onto the cotton. If I see it again, I will buy it…but for now Cetaphil is my best option for availability, cost-effectiveness and a non-irritating formula.

This removes eye makeup well and is non-irritating. It’s your basic water and silicone dual phase solution, that has to be shaken before use. I find this squirts out too much product everywhere. Otherwise, it does a perfectly good job of removing all kinds of makeup. Personally, I prefer Neutrogena’s version, which is cheaper per ounce, but if you buy this, it’s not a loss.

Just as good if not better than most these type of oil but” oil free” like eye make up remover it was on deep sale at my rite aid for 1.99 i went back and brought the last two bottles.
It works and is smooth as butter and even though it has oil in it. It remove my eye make up. It literal removed it all. I had just got off from work. and i didnt need to wash my face afterwards. It cleaned with no burning or hurting to my eyes. I even used it to clean my face . Again no breakout and no need to run and wash it off. which was nice.

I am totally in love with this remover! It’s so gentle on my eyes. When wiping away eye makeup, there is no need for me to rub really hard. The formula feels silky in a sense… As in when I wipe away with a cotton round it feels so light and there is no stretching or tugging on my skin. It doesn’t sting my eyes either, and I find myself to have sensitive eyes – a huge plus! I sometimes use this all over my face as well when I’m too lazy to switch to another facial oil cleanser and it works relatively well in removing my makeup, but more importantly waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It has not broken me out or caused any dryness or other irritation so far, so that’s a good sign.

Finally found a very effective eye makeup remover that doesn’t irritate my eyes. This removes all my eye makeup easily and when it gets in my eyes, like all eye makeup removers inevitably do, it doesn’t sting my eyes.
It’s literally the first bi phase formula I can use on my sensitive eyes. I put it on a cotton round, hold it over my eyes for a bit and then wipe away the broken down makeup. Before this I was using Neutrogena hydrating eye makeup remover, which is effective but less so than this one (The Neutrogena one struggles sometimes with long wearing makeup and waterproof mascaras a bit). The Neutrogena one I could use as well though, without irritating my eyes.
So yes, I would reccomend this wholeheartedly to people with sensitive eyes or anyone really. Very pleased.
