This is one of the worst mascaras I have ever tried. My curled lashes immidiately fall down, and the formula is way too wet for my liking. My lashes get very clumpy, and given no length at all. Big no, I still used glitter instead! A lot of glitter and glitter eyeshadows make up the majority of my lip colors, so much so that I decided to use Meyka BB cream instead!I love what I buy! They work great, so make sure you get yours during the sale! It’s such a gorgeous color, and I love how it keeps coming out after it’s worn for a few hours. Simply incredible!

This is my new favourite mascara.
For years I was a devotee of YSL faux cils, but I find it’ formula a bit too dry.
For reference, I have very fine, short and sparse lashes with minimal curl. Basically terrible lashes. Without mascara, I look like I have no lashes. Like those ladies in medieval paintings. Not beautiful any longer, I’m afraid, so I need a dramatic mascara!
For reference, I use this over the top of Dior lash primer (also love).
The texture is a bit on the wet side, but I do prefer that as I feel it works better with primer. Doesn’t dry out too much as I continue to use (I remember faux cils drying out terribly).
Most importantly, this lengthens and thickens my lashes. The result is lashes which are dramatic for me, but probably like regular lashes for everyone else! With primer, is stays on all day and doesnt flake. I dont use on my bottom lashes, though, because that does lead to panda eyes.
I will keep experimenting with mascaras in case there’s something better out there, but I have returned to this one time and again- and probably will again. It’s by far my favourite so far!
Price is kinda steep, but can be found cheap on ebay etc. Also comes in generous 10ml size, which seems bigger than the standard.
Highly recommend trying out this mascara if you want beautiful, dramatic lashes.

You definitely will like this if you love spidery/clumpy lashes. It gives volume for sure, but instead of a natural volume, it makes me look like a Halloween addict. Another dior mascara that fails the test.
As with Peria, it’s more formulated that Peria. However, it’s still a stick with a good tip (especially if you take its name into account). If you’re a sassy girl, stick to Peria. I didn’t want to go overboard with it.
Mascara Matte High on the Dark Side $9.95 (USA)
This is my favorite mascara ever and I absolutely love that it was so versatile. I was pleasantly surprised how versatile this brand was on this one! It was great when it came to feeling like a full-on lip. It was equally versatile when it came to applying bold slashes. A Christmas board between pinches of Tatu for sun eyes isn’t too much to ask for, it’s just such a nice primer.
My eye will light up with this mascara, but you really won’t get any creases and even partial pigmentation. With Peria it goes where it’s supposed to and really does make me look flawless! This fall I’m not making any changes. Keep checking on Pencil Press, but if you want a No. 4 look at 120 creases per tube, then Peria is on your wishlist.
Rose Naturals Lingerie $7.99 (USA)
This is one mascara that I have tried several times and have NEVER heard a single one works without first wearing a waterproof makeup bag. Again, I wanted to make my eyes look “normal,” but it was necessary not to break out of the water and start glittering.
As for consistency, the Rose Naturals brand claims to give 100% concealer which is really mean. However, that’s not true at all. I got small shades on this summer, and it made my eyes look more “normal,” that is, absolutely complete. Given how much makeup is required for your beauty routine, I should know something like this by now. Check out Rose Naturals Lipstick U, if you want an elimination formula without having to use makeup and have small pores or eyebrows.
Popolatto
My favorite mascara is Popolatto. My favorite serum from Cosmo is it’s after color and smells great. For this iteration, it’s fallen from the top to bottom of this list, but I’m using Minions 2 to 30 based on me love it. It is also super light and semi-smooth in its time

I am on my fifth tube. I recommend this mascara to everyone I come across and even purchase it as a gift for friends and family.
The consistency is creamy. I always make sure to blot the brush off a bit before applying. I also make sure my lashes don’t have any residue, fuzzies, etc. on them before applying this as I would with any other mascara. I apply some Caudalie Premier Cru Elixir serum on my lashes overnight and that helps keep them clean and smooth. I work this mascara lightly into the base of my lashes and usually apply four coats evenly. Then I go back and use the tip of the brush to style my inner lashes and bottom lashes. It dries relatively quick.
I get people asking me all the time if my lashes are the real deal or not. LOVE this stuff!

Ok, um…….no. I am a huge fan of Dior Blackout curling mascara, but bought this thinking it might be better. Wrong. For the price, this is a terrible mascara and I’m actually returning it to Sephora today. It clumps like crazy and you end up with like, three spikes instead of gorgeous, lifted, fanned out lashes like I get with the other Dior mascara. I don’t care for the brush, either. Packaging is gorgeous–I mean, it’s Dior so what do you expect? Maybe I’m missing something, but the one thing I’ve learned in the 20+ years of buying and wearing makeup is that mascara is totally subjective. What one person raves about, another person will hate. Guess I’m one of the haters.

I love this mascara so much!It truly lengthens and volumizes my short and stubby lashes.
