I picked up a sample of this from my clinique counter and really wanted to love it. I bought it in “light” and it matches my skin tone perfectly, and the application is smooth, but after 30 minutes, my face is an oil slick. If you have oily skin, stay far away from this one. Setting it with powder didnt help one bit.

I’ve been using this foundation for several months. It’s great for providing a sheer layer of coverage, just to even out skin tone, but I found that it doesn’t do much for imperfections such as spots and scars. I also found that it caused my skin to break out around my chin and left my face feeling pretty oily by the end of the day. It’s a satisfactory product but for how expensive it is I expect more.

I have dry/normal skin and i have pretty clear skin. I had been using Mac Face and Body in C3 and liked it but for some reason, by the end of the day, i felt like my skin was looking shiny and dull. I like dewy skin but this was a little too much for me. So i went to sephora and tried this on in Medium. This is peeeeeeeerfect for me!!! The coverage is sheer compared to other foundations but its just right for me. It feels very light and evens out my skin. I read the reviews and people keep saying that its in between a tinted moisturizer and a foundation but this gives me more coverage than the Mac F&B. The finish is not matte but gives a healthy glow without the use of any sheen or shimmer in the foundation. However, if you have darker skin tones, this might not work for you as the color selection is on the light side. Also, the foundation isnt that expensive. It comes with 1.5 fluid ounces compared to the standard 1.0 oz. You are getting 50% more foundation than most other foundations and its 21.00 USD. In my opinion, its a pretty good price and considering that almost all drugstore foundations come with 1 oz and cost around 10-15 $, if you were to buy it in a container with 1.5 oz you would be paying around 15-22$ anyways.
I think that perhaps a lot of the negative reviews people leave for any foundation is because they are using the wrong foundation to begin with. If you have oily skin and you use a dewy foundation, yes you will look greasy at the end of the day, and yes, you wont like it. So overall, awesome product and I recommend it for people that have decent skin and are looking for something thats not full coverage.
