First, the positives: this smells great imo (like fruit candy), it’s affordable, and no silicones to cause weigh down. That’s it. The downsides: This caused me to lose a lot more hair than normal each time I used it. It also made my scalp itch and dried my hair out too much. I developed breakouts on the back of my neck as well, though I’m not sure if it was this shampoo or the same brand’s Repair & Protect Conditioner. I’ve given up on Tresemme and plan to stick with higher quality brands.

Loved the product but NOT the smell – Tresemme Thick & Full shampoo and conditioner worked fantastic on my hair but I can’t tolerate the smell. I have unprocessed very fine hair that is past my waist in length. My hair was voluminous and soft but I had to return due to the lingering strong smell. I’m sensitive to fragrances and this line is very strongly fragranced. It’s very musky with a vanilla amber kind of smell. If they toned down the fragrance this is a wonderful line that works on fine hair and for an amazing value.

This is the best Volumizing shampoo I have used in YEARS! It actually DOES what it says—it really helps give my very fine, straight, long hair some actual volume without stripping it of shine. In fact, my hair actually looked shinier than usual after washing with this the other day! I am seriously blown away by this shampoo…I purchased a big bottle at the drugstore for like $6 (in NYC, that’s a pretty rad bargain!) & it has been magnificent so far. The scent is really nice—fresh & clean (maybe leaning a bit towards citrusy?) but not overpowering at all. I have used another clear shampoo with micellar technology as well (different brand), and there’s really no comparison for me when it comes to results: this is definitely the winner!
This also seems to help significantly with hair fall in the shower for me; I shed a LOT less hair than I normally do!
I’m so happy I decided to give this a go—it’s my new favorite shampoo & I highly look forward to trying the matching conditioner!

I don’t like this stuff. I keep trying it. MY HAIR DIDN’T FEEL CLEAN AFTER USING THIS SHAMPOO. IT FELT LIKE THERE WAS A LAYER OF SOMETHING ON IT. In this case you really get what you pay for. Idk how to get rid of it either because it’s in a big bottle. Honestly most drugstore shampoo isn’t good.

I noticed there weren’t any reviews for this yet, so I thought I would start it up. I was intrigued by this shampoo because it uses micellar technology to cleanse. If you aren’t familiar with micellar water used to cleanse skin, it’s a watery substance that has molecules that attract and trap dirt and debris making it easy to remove from skin. I was also excited about the fact that it has glycerol in it, which is said to penetrate the hair shaft and expand it making the hair appear fuller.
A little background, I have very fine hair, but a lot of it which makes it very tangly, greasy after 8 hours of washing, and limp and blah. I’ve been using this shampoo with the conditioner every other day for about 1 month. I must say, I’m really surprised by it. I have to be careful with some shampoos and conditioners because I will notice a lot of hair fall, usually with the first use which will cause me to stop using it immediately(huge waist of money). This combo did not do that, plus one! Plus two, it actually cleans my hair really well. It feels really clean but not squeaky which is good IMO. Plus three is that it actually does what it says it’s going to do, creating volume and bounce. Plus four-it smells so good. I don’t know how to explain it but it isn’t fruity or floral. It’s just a clean fresh smell that I really like. Plus five- my hair goes two whole days before it gets greasy which is a miracle.
Give this a try, it’s $4.98 at Walmart!
