After my stylist recommended Davines shampoos for color retention, I tried Minu shampoo first, since it is their color-preserve product. It’s a very gentle shampoo without much lather (typical for sulfate-free shampoos). It doesn’t have the greatest scent, but it’s not offensive and doesn’t linger too strongly post-wash.

While this shampoo cleans well at first, I found that I had some build-up on my scalp after several uses. Since I don’t use hair products (hair sprays/gels/etc.), I knew it was coming from the shampoo. After clarifying my hair and using Minu shampoo again, all is well until I’ve used it another 4-5 times, when the buildup returns and lather is nonexistent.

Minu definitely does preserve hair color – absolutely zero fading with this product – but I found that I liked Nounou shampoo much better.
