This is one of the best smelling dry shampoos I’ve ever used. It smells clean, not fruity or heavily perfumed. This goes on very wet (weird, even after vigorously shaking the can), with no residue, but unfortunately, it doesn’t absorb any oil in my hair. I used it this morning before I left, and my hair looked oily by by the time I got to work. I don’t mean a little oily, but embarrassingly oily. I don’t know if the dry shampoo contributed to it, or if it just didn’t absorb any if it. I have fine hair that clumps together in sections when it’s greasy, and it’s doing that right now. Really wished this worked for me because the scent and the price are perfect.

Love this dry shampoo! It is different from others (aka TONS) I’ve tried– it goes on a little wet but dries within about a minute and with practically no white residue. I have dark blonde light brown hair, and even though I’m on the lighter side I still have to spend time with most dry shampoos (including Batiste which is one of my absolute favorites) rubbing them into my scalp to get rid of the white cast. This one dried very quickly and my hair looked clean and refreshed. I prefer this one to the Herbal Essences Volume White Grapefruit Dry Shampoo because it’s not sticky like that one was for me

I had trouble tracking down this dry shampoo in this Blue Ginger scent, but I ended up getting it shipped to my local Walmart with free pick up. Some Ulta stores also have it. I have the regular shampoo and foam conditioner in this scent and really like them both (unisex/ herbal seaberry scent; the website says it’s ginger, floral bouquet and musk), and wanted this to match.
Although I don’t really need dry shampoo, I use this more as a texturizing spray, hair refresher. It says it contains tapioca, but it doesn’t have a color, it comes out clear. My hair is medium- dark brown and I have no issue with it showing up on my hair at all. I hold it 6-8 inches away from my roots and spritz, then “whoosh” to give my hair some body. At about $7, much cheaper than spending $45 on Oribe’s Texturizing spray! I really like this.
