Wow! Was surprisingly impressed by this dry shampoo! Usually, I am not a big fan of them but when I am in a pinch and don’t have time to wash & condition my hair, I use dry shampoo as a last resort.
Here is the review: Ran out of dry shampoo and wanted to just pick up any at the d/s…however, the Aveeno caught my attention and so did the ingredients ( oats, peppermint & rosemary extracts to name a few). It also smells nice not overpowering / cloying but green , slightly floral /fresh.
When I sprayed before brushing I was afraid it would leave residue and just make my hair look matted and flat ( lack of volume); it did the opposite ! Gave quite a bit of volume and made the hair look fresh and actually styled pretty well instead of leaving a dull finish.
..Will continue to use this brand of dry shampoo. Costs about $10 -$11 (CAD). 5 lippies😃 ** UPDATE**: After using this dry shampoo a second time , I like it better – it actually gives a bit of shine ( read: not greasy shine but a clean fresh shampoo kind of shine ) and makes the scalp feel so good ( guessing it’s the herbal blend ?) & I found the hair is easier to style after brushing combing through ; when using other dry shampoos in the past, my hair was flat, dull and a bit frizzy. This one’ s performance is better than expected…That being said, Aveeno Green Blends Dry shampoo lives up to its claims and is another bang -for-your-buck drugstore gem.
