I’m on the fence about this shampoo for hair loss but it is a great volumising shampoo. It has aminexil, which is – to my knowledge- one of the two proven agents which reduce hair fall, the other being minoxidil and not so free of adverse effects. The only brand in my country that has aminexil – again to my knowledge- is Kerastase. I tend to shed a lot of hair but a new autoimmune disorder aggravates this during mini flares. It did have an effect quickly and I know this was not due to oral biotin, vitamin D or B. It was a small effect and I cannot observe how well it will go in the longer run, but you know even just one strand feels sometimes. This product is not designed to help new hair grow, they recommend the lotion for it, which I did not use. Overall, I rely on oral Biotin, vitamin D and B for better results and see this shampoo just as a little help, but I like having it in my rotation.I try to keep it on my head for as long as possible in the shower.
The smell: To my nose, this smells like dishwasher detergent or any lemony house cleaning product. It is a clean smell, nothing disturbing but I cannot say it is a great pleasure.
The texture: Normal consistency, lathers well. It has sulfates.
The overall effect: Interesting. My hair is squeaky clean afterward and despite my fears, it did not dry my overprocessed hair which is brittle in the ends. It adds a lot of volume, I can even go without a conditioner, but my hair will not be very soft then. Despite the clean feel, I cannot stop thinking there is a slight film – not silicone feel though- that covers my hair shaft and makes it feel stronger. I quite like that feeling because of the sensitive state of my hair due to chemical processes.
This is not the only shampoo that I use because I apply pre-poo masks, hot oil treatments etc etc and I feel it would be a waste to clean all those things with this. Still, I like having it in my rotation. Vichy offers good discounts on this and my pharmacist says this is the products that gets the most positive feedback in their pharmacy.

I used this among other things and to be honest I’m just disappointed.

I purchased 2 bottles of this some years back when my hair was thinning in spectacular fashion. It was only when my regular shampoo finished without me realising that I considered: why not use a anti-hair loss shampoo instead of just grabbing a ‘regular’ cleansing shampoo? Kill 2 birds with 1 stone…or something like that.
Using this I started to see less hair falling by the 3rd week which was a very good sign that the product was working…and would probably have continued to work. However I started to notice my scalp becoming quite flaky going into week 4 and worse on subsequent weeks, to the point where I was constantly scratching my scalp. I have no idea what caused that – whether it was the perfume or another ingredient. And this is from someone who doesn’t even suffer from a sensitive scalp.
The shampoo formulation itself is pretty good, in that I didn’t need to use too much of it to get a decent lather and clean my hair thoroughly. Never left my hair lank or tangled either.
Had this not caused the constant itching I would have given it full marks no doubt, but unfortunately I had to stop using this as it was becoming unbearable.

Did not work for me. It’s expensive, the hair loss did not change and it gave me dandruff. Wouldn’t buy it again.

I cant say this made any new hair grow, but its is above average shampoo. This really cleans hair well so it gives volume. Smells great, and does a good job of getting all the gunk out for a good squeaky clean feeling. My only issue is that it does not spread throughout the head well. You have to work it in sections of your scalp separately. I liked this a lot and definitely would recommend. Wouldn’t repurchase but it was a good one (:

I must say for the PRICE I was not impressed. MY hair seemed kinda soft, but as for volume and hair loss, it didnt change at all, I find my hair is lacking shine, its drier and worse than before, sorry but this is not the shampoo for me….cant figure out with all the good reviews why it didnt work for me :S

I’m on my 5th tube of this shampoo. I have fine hair, although I have a lot of it, and this shampoo I use to wash nearly every day. I know this is bad but with the heat now in summer and sports, I have to.
I believe I’ve been loosing less hair since I started using this shampoo. Once I used it all up and started using another shampoo and I really saw a difference, so I quickly went to buy a new pack.
Here in Spain it can be bought in 2for1 offer, and it costs around 12Eur, so each bottle costs 6Eur, which is not so expensive in comparison with a regular pantene shampoo for example, that costs around 3.50Eur.

This product is awesome! Besides having a refreshing scent, it moisturizes while volumizing at the same time. My hair tends to tangle easily and this helps rid me of those pesky knots. In addition, I have seen less hair loss since using this. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey. However, if it continues to do its job, it’s worth every penny!

I am pretty impressed with this shampoo. I’ve used it on its own and in conjunction with Vichy’s Aminexil treatment, and I’ve been really satisfied with the results so far. My hair feels stronger, I’ve noticed less hair loss, my scalp feels healthy, and it gives my hair volume and bounce. It lathers really well, too, so it’s easy to use and you don’t need much. On the negative side, I find it can be a touch drying, and my hair is not especially shiny (these are not serious problems, overall my hair looks quite good!). I haven’t found anything better, and will absolutely repurchase.
