Takes A LOT of this product to actually help my thick hair. At least it doesn’t leave white residue. Does have build up as with other dry shampoo but less itchy after a few days. Prefer other products over this.

I’ve got a limited edition version of this in a pink tube with flamingoes. In Japan this retails for about 1200 JPY plus tax, which is pretty expensive for a drugstore Western dry shampoo, but pretty standard for a Japanese dry shampoo. (The concept of dry shampoos is still fairly new here, they have hair perfumes, but only recently I”ve started seeing dry shampoo, and it’s not really a thing.) The smell, as other reviewers have said, is great. It refreshes the hair, but doesn’t last so well against my oily roots, so after a few hours, my hair is again weighed down and greasy, although smelling heavenly. I would repurchase if it was cheaper, but I much prefer Batiste, which I can usually find at good prices in Korea.

I’ll preface this by saying I’m not sure if this “flavor” of COLAB survived the line’s revamp a couple years back. If it didn’t, it’s a pity. This stuff smells great–very fresh. On to the formula: I like it a lot, but I still prefer Batiste. COLAB is sheerer, but it doesn’t last as long in my hair–possibly because of its sheerness. I suspect Batiste’s very powderiness is what makes it so effective. My bottle also didn’t last me all that long. Where a bottle of Batiste can last me dozens of uses, my bottle of this lasted me maybe a dozen uses. Still, this is a great product at a great price. I’d happily keep some on hand if I could more readily find COLAB products stateside.

This dry shampoo is ok, but not powerful enough for my greasy roots. It smells amazing and the bottle itself looks more stylish than some of the other brands (lookin’ at you, Batiste).
It’s great because it goes on “wet” instead of powdery so it’s perfect for dark hair – no white cast. It’s also super light feeling and won’t dry out your hair. That being said I used a tooooooonnnnnnnnn of product and my roots still felt pretty greasy. It might be better for someone who dry shampoos every night or morning, rather than someone like me who just dry shampoos the day before I wash my hair.
I really like the scent and wish it had a bit more power.

This was so hyped up that when I used it, it was very underwhelming.
I purchased this because I watched Essiebutton (Estée Lalonde) rave about this and she said it smelled amazing. So I caved and bought it.
First off, it smells amazing. I honestly wish there was a perfume of the stuff because it smells so fresh and floral and clean. Very grown up smelling. I love the scent.
As for doing what a dry shampoo should do for my hair? No. It didn’t do anything. I sprayed it in my hair and it gave a lot of volume, which is great, however it left a massive residue in my hair. It also dried my hair out so bad and made it crispy and crunchy and matted. My hair wouldn’t move all day and halfway through the day, my hair got super oily.
I’m glad people like it, however I’m going back to my beloved Batiste because this didn’t work at all for me.

Love at first spray! It does at it’s meant to do, takes away oiliness from roots but then, unlike every other dry shampoo that works, this doesn’t leave a residue! And the different frangrances are lovely too. I’ve only tried it in London and New York so far but am eager to try the others.
I used to use Batiste. Batiste works well at removing greasiness but it leaves a strong residue and a powdery feeling on your scalp that only goes away with shampooing. Colab on the other hand, really is quite invisible and smells much better than the batiste scents.
I have very thick, curly/wavy, black hair. I don’t like washing my hair too often and this keeps from needing to shampoo for at least another 2 days! Really love this stuff and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. So pleased that it’s now avialable in the states (at American Eagle) because my manic stocking up from the UK has run out.

For my fine bleached hair that doesn’t get too oily, it worked great to give my hair a bit of a refresher between shampoos.

Well, I’ll start by saying I have tried Batiste and some of the other brands before and they didn’t really seem to do much more me, my hair would pretty much be in the same oily state a few minutes later but they do work for some people, so I decided to give CO LAB a go based on the good reviews but I don’t think I will buy it again, it does give you a lot of volume so at least you don’t have this flat oily hair sticking to your head, but it does make your hair quite dry and stiff, like you wouldn’t really be running your hands through it, I think it might be good if you’re doing an up-do as it will give you volume and hold so I would probably only use it for occasions like that, but my biggest problem with this, and I have experimented with using lesser amounts, applying it lightly etc, but the next time I wash my hair I cannot wash it out! I have to shampoo like three times and apply a heavy conditioner and I still can’t get it out of my hair, my hair stays dry and stiff and ends up looking pretty horrible, so for that reason it is just too annoying to keep using!

Batiste is my favourite dry shampoo and I have to say that this doesn’t quite live up to its oil soaking powers. However, if you feel Batiste is too powdery, give this one a go! Colab Sheer Invisible is lighter and works also on clean hair to give your roots a little lift. For me, Colab gives a sort of between version in slightly dirty hair where it isn’t “clean” (like with Batiste) but not like it is without any dry shampoo. Colab also gives a nice change with the scents. Batiste doesn’t really offer grown up options for scents so I always use the classic. I have tried only London and New York from Colab: London smells like Stella by Stella McCartney and New York is a slightly cheaper apple scent with cheap drugstore musk lingering in the background. Luckily the musk fades away and you’ll catch only the bright apple scent during the day. Overall an ok product, not stellar but makes a nice change.

COLAB dry shampoo is amazing! It has transformed my haircare routine.
My hair type is quite fine, with a bit of a kink but it tends to go flat at the roots. COLAB is such a lifesaver, I can go up to three days between washes, it gives a much needed lift to roots and it buys me an extra half hour in bed (which is amazing as a busy working mum!)
I love the fragrances, New York and Monaco are my favourite. The Sheer & Invisible dry shampoo suits my hair type much better than the Extreme Volume as I use it as a refreshing product between washes rather than to build volume to style it.
I’d recommend COLAB to anyone.
