I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos and I was thinking that this one will be great as I like Toni&Guy actual shampoos and it was 1/2 price in my local shop. I was very disappointed, I have very thin blonde hair and this just made it so messy and tangled. It felt like hair spray mixed with dry shampoo. Made my hair very heavy and sticky. I think I will continue using Batiste as Thats probably the best one and it’s 1/2 price of this one.

Loved the fancier packaging on this in the supermarket so I bought not only this, but the hairspray too. This brand has nice packaging, at least I think so, but they tent to be very tight when it comes to value for money ect. Because they were always well packaged, I assumed that my dry hair with oily roots problem could be easily salvaged with this dry conditioner. I was, so, SO wrong. This dry shampoo not only didn’t seem to dry my roots, it just seemed to make what wasn’t dry really frizzy and what was dry even frizzier and messy looking, but the worst part was, and I know that you normally get a white coloured film from all dry shampoos, but in this case, people were thinking I’d tried to dry my roots out with talcum powder… and whenever I brushed my hair. All this white film would fall out from my hair. I liked to think it wasn’t the dry shampoo I was using for awhile, but one day I ran out of it, and while my roots still got oily after a day or two, I didn’t get the white film I had when using the dry shampoo. While I have tried some others before and after this, and they all leave a film or frizz out my hair a little, none I have tried so far were as frizzy, or powdery/film-like as this brand was. Their hair spray was not great either, also powdery, as well as patchy and crusty with bad hold. Their heat protector is ok though. But I wouldn’t bother buying this dry shampoo.

Hard to believe how bad this dry shampoo actually is as I usually love Toni&Guy products. It left my hair feeling really waxy at the roots and much dirtier looking than before I use it. I thought I must be using it wrong, so I tried it again a week later just to get the same result as before – really greasy, waxy feeling hair that looked like it hadn’t been washed in weeks, rather than one day. Was so bad I had to wash it all out. I threw the can in the bin as it’s hopeless. An expensive waste of money that I wouldn’t recommend.

It’s a decent dry shampoo but the smell is unbearable to the point I cannot use it.

Honestly tried this product twice, wanting to try get my moneys worth. The smell isnt that great basically smells of cheap soap, and when i used it honestly just felt like i was putting a heap of wax and hairspray into my head, which would leave my hair feeling worse off. It was hard to style my hair if i wanted to put it up during the day and i couldnt straighten over it without frying my hair and causing breakage. Would often irritate my skin and create balls of tangled hair. I ended up throwing it out not short after buying it.

This is your regular dry shampoo in my opinion, nothing spectacular, but nothing wrong with it either. Couldn’t they do something about the white residue of dry shampoo in general?
Unlike others, I didn’t even notice the smell until I read about them in the reviews. I’m not bothered by it at all and if anything, I like it. Doesn’t linger at all in my opinion. This does give my hair a boost and volume and takes care of the grease quite reliably. The packaging is nice enough to display on your vanity or bathroom display. And btw, is Toni & Guy cruelty free?

My favourite dry shampoo because it really combats your natural hair oil smell, sound so gross but yeah my hair will smell like day 3, I also just love the smell it just smells like soap to me.
Its not colour specific so it does go on white but really blend-able into my brunette hair in fact the most blend-able I have ever found.
I do love Bastiste for brunettes but I don’t like the smell as much and it doesn’t actually make if feel clean like Toni & Guy Cleanse does.
Also you don’t get that residue of brown that you get with Brunette specific dry shampoos.
Only con is it does make your hair chalky so I guess i would say i kind of only like using this on like my last day before i wash just because i feel like it can strip some of my natural shine and softness my hair has.
Totally recommend it 🙂
Oh but $16 is a bit much so i guess thats also why i try not to use it until maybe only on day 3 which is generally my last day before washing.
FYI on day two i generally use my home made Cocao & Arrowroot mix but Im still not completely sold on for its effectiveness.

I usually use Batiste, but I needed a new heat protectant and there was a deal on Toni & Guy products 2 for NZ$20, so I got the heat spray and this. The heat spray is great. This is just average. I don’t see very much difference in my hair not looking as oily/flat when I apply this, and I have to apply a lot more than the Batiste. There is no residue which is good, but since I am a bleach blonde, I quite like the fact the Batiste leaves a bit because it lightens up my dark roots. The smell is very strong, and not a very feminine scent? But I don’t mind it. Wouldn’t purchase again simply because the price is more expensive, and I do prefer Batiste over this.

I was looking for batiste dry shampoo, and saw the Toni and Guy bottle on special. I thought I might as well give it a go as it was only $2 more, and in the end I was super happy that I bought it. It leaves hardly any white residue, and smells really good (even though others say it smelt horrible). It saves me so much time as I straighten my hair regularly, and now I can spend a couple extra days without having to wash it. Will definitely purchase again 🙂

Absolutely love this dry shampoo! After using batiste for a while, I went for a change and boy, it was so worth it! Skeptical about the $15.99 price tag but gave it a shot and it is brilliant! Lovely perfume (despite what other reviews say), no residue, and no white power (I have brunette hair so this is quite the issue for me with dry shampoos), and beautiful packaging! I find the bottle lasts me longer than the batiste bottles as well. Overall fabulous product!
