I have bleach blonde hair whereas my natural color is the darkest brown. I have to have a purple shampoo on hand to use twice a week to keep my hair looking fresh and keep the brass out due to having well water. I have tried many purple shampoo brands: jhirmacks, shimmer lights. GVP purple shampoo by Sally’s brand, ect.. all of the latter made my hair very very DRY , and since my hair is long , when it gets that dried out in the shower it tends to tangle so I try to stay away from drying shampoos because of that, and because my hair is processed and need all the moisture it can get. I am in love with this *not your mothers* purple shampoo because not only does it work, but it also doesn’t make my hair dry and/or strip it when I rinse it out, it actually was moisturizing and i didn’t have to use as much conditioner nor did I have to use leave in conditioner to brush my hair out. So it works and it doesn’t dry my hair out to the point of a tangled rats nest like the other brands that I’ve regrettably used before.
