This is my favorite drugstore moisturizer. As someone who has oily skin and lives in a humid state, this moisturizer is perfect for me. It’s very lightweight, absorbs easily into the skin and dries to a semi-matte finish without that heavy, occlusive feel and greasy/oily mess. It contains 0.5% salicylic acid as it’s marketed for acne control. I don’t really suffer from acne except for the occasional “time of the month” breakouts so I didn’t purchase it specifically for that. I like it because of its good oil control and the weightless feel on my skin but yet moisturizing enough for dry areas on my face. It doesn’t cause burning for me but I don’t have sensitive skin either. Has a light citrus scent that may bother some people who are ultra sensitive to fragrances but it doesn’t bother me and it dissipates after a few minutes.
Consistency is a light lotion and comes in a very handy pump container.
Works beautifully over sunscreen and/or under makeup and does not interfere with application of said products. Purchased mine for $8 plus tax for a 4oz product. A repeat buy but hard to find in stores sometimes.

I used this one time and my face burned so bad that I never used it again. I have oily/ combination sensitive acne prone skin.

MADE MY FACE BURN
I saw this at CVS and it was one of the cheapest moisturizers on the shelf so I purchased it.
The first time i wore it I felt a burning sensation on my skin. At the time I couldn’t figure out which cosmetic was causing this, so the discomfort continued for a week.
After a week I stopped wearing this completely, and sure enough the burning sensation subsided. After googling this product I saw tons of other reviews with similar experiences. This Pink Graprefruit moisturizer has been around for years yet is still on the market – why isn’t Neutrogena discontinuing this product? Doesn’t it care about its reputation?

Pros:
-comes in a pump and easy to dispense
-don’t feel too oily
-keeps face moisturize
-gives face a healthy grow.
I used to use the clean and clear oil free moisturizer with salicylic acid but it was not as moisturizing as this product. I would definitely repurchase again since my skin do not have any negative reaction such as clogged pores.

I’m far from a teen but I am really oily like think adolescent oily so I was looking for something containing salicylic acid & would soak up some of this excess oil. It’s comparable to clean & clear except it has a fresh invigorating Fragrance that I enjoy. So when I can’t get my MAC oil control lotion or Clinique dramatically diff moisturizing gel I will get this. It works really well but I wished it had a more clayish mattifying effect like Olay which I can’t find at Kroger anymore. I’m going to try more of this grapefruit line and soon! It’s so nice to have a DS option for skincare besides clean & clear for acne which to me imo isn’t even an option becoz it’s wayyyyy too harsh all of it except the oil free moisturizer. I hate going to the Mall becoz I’m in a wheelchair so having a DS option is so great!

I received this in a “teen pack” and tried it out and loved it so I repurchased! It’s a great moisturizer for oily skin that dries down to a matte finish. It smells AMAZING!! I don’t know how well it works for acne but I love it because of how fast it absorbs.

Will be using this regularly. I had pretty bad acne, and this helped clear up a lot of it. I also like how its not greasy, and it works well under makeup

I have oily, acne prone skin and so when I saw this moisturizer that was geared towards helping acne, I was excited. This product has an extremely strong grapefruit sent that I’m not too fond of. I have tried their other grapefruit item’s and I didn’t mind the smell then, but with this moisturizer its too much. I’ve had it for about a week now and I noticed that I have broken out way worse than I had before using this product. I truly think my skin just didn’t react will to the perfume in this product and was too sensitive to it. Really bummed me out…

I was using an expensive higher end acne line that came with an equally expensive acne treatment and separate lotion. I wanted a drugstore moisturizer with an acne treatment in it when I ran out of my expensive ones. This is very light weight, undetectable on the skin and doesn’t break me out. Does it clear things overnight? No. It makes my skin a little soft and clears my acne with patience and time which is all I can really ask for in a drugstore product. The scent is also really fresh but doesn’t linger too long after application.

I really like this moisturizer. I tend to use this when I’m having breakouts and once I apply it my blemishes are noticeably smaller within a day. It has a strong grapefruit smell, which I’m not too fond of, but I’m willing to put up with it for this moisturizer. The smell does dissipate within a couple minutes. So if you’re sensitive to fragrance I would say you probably wouldn’t like it, but if you can deal with it then I think it’s definitely worth a try. This moisturizer also goes really well under makeup, it’s very light weight while still moisturizing to my skin. It also doesn’t make me break out which is a plus in my book!
