If they every stop making this I will cry. I don’t like the other scents and don’t find them to be as effective. This is the only natural Deo that I’ve ever found that actually works. I have the travel versions and the full size and stock up periodically. This is supposed to be limited edition but I hope they make it forever because I love it!

The best natural deodorant on the market, IMO. I love the Vanilla Lavender scent, but this one is my absolute favorite. With the other ones, I sometimes have to reapply once mid-day. With the Sport Luxe formulation, I don’t have to reapply at all, unless I’ve been exercising. It’s just as effective as regular deodorant, but much healthier for you. The scent is so fresh and clean, I truly enjoy putting on deodorant each morning. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed apply deodorant before, lol! I love that it’s all-natural and cruelty free, plus it doesn’t contain any animal-based ingredients. Lavanila deodorants are kind of pricy – $16 for Sport Luxe – but well worth the money to me. I try to buy them on sale. Dermstore.com has a 30% a few times a year so I usually stock up then.

So, I’ve decided to switch to aluminum-free odor protection. I want something relatively fragrance-free and without leaving white marks from the solid itself. Decided to try the Lavanila line. I’m active and need something that will last through workouts, not just sitting at a desk at work. The Sport Luxe is a round solid twist-up stick, goes on clear, and has a very mild “Vanilla Breeze” scent. I got the smaller size – very portable and great for travel. The scent is very nonobtrusive and doesn’t compete with whatever eau de toilette I may be wearing for the day – in fact, I can’t detect it unless I’m expressly trying to sniff my pits. (TMI? LOL.) The solid drags a little on my skin, but I like that it goes on dry and not sticky; after applying and before getting dressed, I usually swing my arms to warm and distribute my deodorant anyway. A full size unit costs about 3 times more than my old standard drugstore anti-perspirant/deodorant, but with as long as it takes me to go through a whole stick in general, I think I can afford it 🙂 Very pleased with this purchase, and hoping to try the Fragrance Free version to see if it works equally well through workouts.

Amazing!!! I have been using Lavanilla deodorants (& rollerball perfumes) since Xmas 2015 when I got a set & I decided to order Sport becoz I mean, Sport sounds heavy duty like I figured heavy sweating. It is the summer here northern hemisphere & ive been kept stink & funky smelling free by this deodorant. You will sweat that’s a normal body function “grow up” if u think bodily functions are weird ev1 sweats. I choose not to plug my sweat glands w aluminum (to me sounds much yuckier than any sweating I may be doing!). This smells very fresh & “sporty” it’s my fave out of all of the Lavanilla products & I don’t smell any funk but I wash every single day that’s the most important beauty tip I can give u is “wash up!” Nobody wants to smell funk. If you have hyperhydrosis (sp sorry) u prob want an AP but this will serve its owner well if u don’t have demanding conditions (eg working outside an 8 hour day in 95° heat or teaching 3 aerobics classes before noon). Good for normal sweating not sure if this is strong enough for those who have residual BO after “washing up” but this deo smells so good when u apply fresh out of shower. It smells like an expensive shampoo. Personally works for me well. It is more gel-like than the other lavanilla’s. Winning!!

This did not work with my body chemistry at all. I feel like it somehow made my BO worse. I prefer Meow Meow Tweet baking soda free deodorant.

I’ve never tried the original so I can’t compare the effectiveness of the two but overall, I would describe this deodorant as better than nothing. If you’re someone who doesn’t really sweat or smell much and stays indoors most of the time, then this will work for you. Like the previous reviewer stated, this drags. And leaves my armpits feeling a little tacky. Of course it’s not an antiperspirant so it didn’t keep me dry, but it def didn’t keep me from smelling either…I kept having to reapply every few hours. The sodium bicarbonate in this is one of the last ingredients which is nice for someone who is sensitive to it like myself and I didn’t get much of an irritation unless I applied a lot and got really sweaty. The scent is labeled as vanilla breeze but it smells nothing like vanilla or any of their perfumes and just like a commercial deodorant…Packaging is the same as the other cute lavanilla products. Purchased on Sephora for under $20? The quest for an aluminum free deodorant that actually works continues. Needless to say, I def won’t be repurchasing.
UPDATE: So I continued to use this with frequent reapplication and developed a reaction (I’m guessing to the accumulated sodium bicarbonate). So if youre someone who has a sodium bicarbonate sensitivity and has decent BO and therefore will be reapplying this often, I would not recommend it.

I have been a Lavanila deodorant user for years, and love it. No, it doesn’t keep me dry as an antiperspirant, but it doesn’t claim to. Because I am not smelly by nature and generally only notice some wetness in hot and sweaty weather, this doesn’t really bother me.
But when I saw that this one claims to keep you drier than the original I thought, great.
If I had tested this in July I might be able to speak to its enhanced dryness or lack thereof, but unfortunately I can’t tell a difference (and I haven’t worked out in ages to test it in its intended setting). However, I am not a fan. The smell is very pleasant, but the texture is vastly different from the original. While the original is an opaque, creamy/powdery white formula that glides on smoothly, this Sport Luxe is closer to a solid gel (more translucent) and DRAGS across my skin uncomfortably. That one major difference has me wishing that I will go through this tube quickly so I can return to the old one.
Edited down to one lipstick: I am now noticing that this one works less well than the original formula at doing its job. Perhaps my chemistry has changed? Or it just doesn’t keep me from smelling. I am going back to the regular formula.
