I’ve been using only this product for a few years now so I completely respect this product but recently I’ve tried the Secret brand Clinical antiperspirant/deodorant and it performs much better than this one. That is why I’m going to review this product.
THE POSITIVES:
1. I like the scent, it’s not strong but it’s subtly there.
2. The stick formula makes it easy to use
3. It lasts a very long time
THE NEGATIVES:
1. Does not keep my armpits dry
2. Does not prevent armpits from smelling bad. In fact, I find the light scent somehow manages to mix with sweat/bad smell causing a worse smell
3. Sticks on clothes even if you hand wash them

I buy this because my underarm skin can be really sensitive and is prone to irritation. Any time they start to hurt or itch, I can use this and the problem goes away. The scent is neither bad or exciting, but the price and availability are great. Always try to have this around, just in case.

Driving down the street today, I got a whiff of something “wrong”… it was my armpits! Each year, around this time, I sing the same song: “Oh Dove, my beloved Dove… how I love your lovely texture, your pleasant smell, and how gentle you are on my armpits. But alas, each year around this time, I’m reminded that however much I love you, I cannot use you year-round. Sweet sleep, my Dove, see you in time for harvest…” Bottomline, regular Dove is simply not strong enough for me from June through October..

Only deo I buy.
I find spray deodorants antiperspirants ineffective and messy, they just leave white powder build up, burn my skin & smell overpoweringly of the propellant gas or icky chemically fragrances.
I find the wetter roll on types too sticky and they take too long too dry, they are better than their spray cousins from a mess & skin damage pov but still not perfect.
The dry stick formulation of dove smells clean, is kind to my skin and keeps me smelling clean & shower fresh without interfering with any perfumes I choose to wear. I buy it again and again. It’s a no-brainer.

Meh it’s a mediocre product. I used it in winter. It didn’t have a very nice smell to it. Other Dove deodourants are better than this.

This is my HG deo. I love the solid texture rather than the roll-on liquids. I can get dressed straight away, it dosen’t get all over my clothes and I find that it works really well, not wet patches or odor. I also like the subtle scent.
I’m like one of the other reviewers – have a small panic if I run out – as not all our local supermarkets stock it.
