Non irritating to my sensitive skin and I think it works to reduce smell (but not sweating) although I have changed my diet and am less stressed so that could also be partly why. The color is pepto-bismal pink and it smells medicinal like band-aids or those pink smokers lollies. At first I didn’t like it but I soon got used to it. Its very runny and liquidy, so it takes a while to dry on your armpits. I usually use my hair drier to speed it up. Because its so runny it gets a bit messy under the cap. Puts me off repurchasing to see all that dried pink cruddy stuff in the cap but its still an effective product.

This is the only natural deodorant I can use which doesn’t irritate my armpits. I’ve tried so many other brands – lush, weleda, anything and everything. But they all bring me out in a rash within a few days / weeks. This I’ve been using for years and it smells lovely, flowery and light, and is soft on my skin. I have to say though it doesn’t work for more than a couple of hours, especially in hot weather. I have to keep reapplying but it is worth it because it is natural, doesn’t contain aluminium and doesn’t irritate my armpits!

I have to rotate my hippie deodorants because they all stop working after a few weeks. This is a constant in my rotation, and it’s the best non-irritating one on my list. The others at the top are Weleda, Jason Tea Tree, Malin + Goetz (not totally “clean”) and my own mixture of coconut oil, baking soda and essential oils (I like peppermint and grapefruit for freshness).
Not perfect, but not bad. Ugh, natural deodorants are the worst…

I used this product right after showering and even in conjuction with a crystal spray I had been trying to use up, and it still did not work for me. The deodorant itself when applying has a strange insect spray smell to it anyway. Too expensive of a deodorant to wear on days when you don’t anticipate sweating. Gave it 2 lippies though because it did not burn/irritate my skin, even if I had shaved prior. Another natural deo. gets pushed to the back of my cabinet…sigh

Well, this is my first day using this so I will have to come back to update. But I felt compelled to post already. I really like the scent which is the first thing most people notice when they try a new deo. I didn’t like AO’s other deoderant at all. It smelled like Calamine lotion to the 50th power! And could’ve been used to repell bugs and most people. Gave me a headache. But this (High C) smells like a mild baby shampoo to me. I really like it. Fresh and clean and doesn’t stink after awhile. Even store deoderants stink after they combine with sweat/heat.
This is also smooth and creamy on the skin. Everything irritates my skin, even home made deoderants and EO’s I’ve tried. I like that this isn’t overpowering with lavendar either. I like lavendar but many people don’t like it and I don’t want to repel everyone. I like that it’s a roll-on too which seems to dry clear and doesn’t flake off. It is winter time now so I don’t know summer heat effectiveness yet. But I will come back to update. I’ve literally tried them all, and this is the first one that seems to actually work, smell good, and doesn’t make me want to scratch my skin off.
Update: Well, it only took a couple days to find out that this product does not work, at least not for me. But I also don’t sweat much. This stuff not only did not work, but stunk after a few hours of light to no activity. I tried this over a holiday weekend where I pretty much didn’t have to do anything. I couldn’t imagine how bad it would be if I was active or it were a hot day. I had high hopes for this since I really like AO products but this was bad. I will not repurchase, ever.

Oooh, as strange as it may sound, I love this deodorant. I tend to get very sweaty and, er, scented, even in cold weather. I’ve ran the gamut of traditional deodorants/antiperspirants, but they seemed to make the problem even worse. I’ve since tried switching to natural deos, but they seemed to not work at all, irritate the hell out of my skin, or both. So far, this has worked perfectly (with a pleasant, herbal-woodsy scent to boot!)
I use this in conjunction with a crystal deodorant stick, and this seems to work. After getting out of the shower, I wet the crystal, apply, and let dry while I moisturize. I then apply the E Plus High C, and apply my makeup while I let the deodorant dry. Those two steps generally keep me smelling clean all day, though if I feel like it’s not keeping up I’ll touch up during the day (though I have to say, maybe this is out of habit… or paranoia?). But I have been noticing that I tend to stay drier when using plain deodorants rather than antiperspirants. Odd, but it’s working.
Oh, and I’ve recently started epilating, and a.) haven’t experienced any ingrowns yet (crosses fingers), and b.) my underarms really do seem softer. Plus, no irritation, burning, or rashes like I got with other natural deodorants.
I’ll definitely repurchase this. I’m not sure yet, but this may turn out to be the absolute best deo I’ve tried so far.

Softens armpit skin but only kept me stink free for about 3 hours. I was bummed considering the success of other reviewers. The only natural deodorant, so far, that keeps me stink-free is Lush’s aromacreme, but it can be very irritating (see my aromacreme review).

I had been using Kiss My Face Liquid Rock roll-on for awhile. It seemed to work for a bit, but them seemed to lose its effectiveness. After trying some of their “Moist” lotion and because of the all-natural ingredients, I decided to try this. First of all, with any natural deo, you should ALWAYS apply to clean underarms. I then wet a deodorant crystal stick and apply (these things used by themselves SUCK!!) I then apply the E plus high C. It does take a bit to dry, but the effectiveness and the fact that I don’t have to reapply this makes it worth the time it takes. The coconut fatty acid cream base in it has really softened the skin of my underarms and made ingrown hairs a thing of the past. I am definitely planning on buying this again!

My mind is blown. I’ve found a natural deodorant that actually works! Also, I like the smell. To me it smells soft, herbal and although i can’t quite pinpoint it, is slightly reminiscent of something from my childhood. weird. It goes on slightly creamy but dries quickly and keeps me stink free for a solid 12 hours. To anyone that has tried kiss my face, tom’s of maine etc. and has been disappointed; try this.

It works well but the smell reminds me of bugspray. I will continue to use it but doubt I will buy it again.
