ick. Where do I start??? I stumbled across this foundation when I was visiting clinique and the girl there suggested I try this product as I was looking for an alternative foundation that provided more coverage. Well, she talked me into buying the clinique perfectly real make-up and after a while I caved in. Big mistake. I came home to try it on and it felt gooey and disgusting on my skin, even if i applied it sparingly. On top of that, the color was way too orange for my skin. I just looked so fake and orange and I was extremely dissapointed that I let myself spend that much money on a crappy product. Perfectly Real?? not quite.

Good grief! Thankfully this goo was a sample. Felt like honey slathered on the face- thick and sticky. Looked horrible- started applying to my forehead and immediately began washing it off. Had to start all over with cleansing and moisturizing. “Perfectly Real”? Clinique has got to be kidding- more like “Perfectly Yuck”. Tried to give it a zero but forced to select a one.

This foundation has a creamy texture, so it just kind of sat on top of my skin. It didn’t look natural at all. I also couldn’t find a good color match for my skin tone (NC45). It made me look rather washed out. I tried a darker shade, but that was too dark. And, another shade had too much red in it.

I really wanted to like this foundation, but it just didn’t work for me.
