This is the only cream-to-powder foundation I have ever really liked. I usually prefer powder foundations because I find most CTP found in compact forms to look too thick and unnatural. This goes on moist and dries to a powder. Since I bought the refill (I hate the Refill philosophy of having to buy a separate compact at these prices so only buy refills on principle if they are too cheap to give me a mirror and sponge.) I usually apply with my fingers and I love the comtrol I get with that. Gives medium to full coverage which is my preference in foundations. The color I use is I-4 (C4, BB natural #4, Stephane Marais Creme O3)
This may be my favorite Shiseido of them all which is saying a lot since I use used Shiseido’s stick found, compact foun and creme found. (See my other reviews)

I’m surprised to find this product match my colouring WITHOUT trying it first (natural light ochre). I bought this product from Strawberrynet so the price was very Ok in my opinion (this cosmetic store really is great, not to mention I just need to pick my order from the internet). I think I like the texture of this compact alyhough I was hopping it doesn’t turn up so mette (but not drying) and wish it’s more liquidy. Overall it is one of the best foundation with SPF 15, medium coverage…run away redness for sure.

It’s a little bit expensive, but well worth the price. A little goes a long way. It leaves my skin feeling soft and looking matte without drying it. I use my finger to apply it as a foundation and conceiler instead of the sponge. Whenver I need a little more converage from hormonal breaking out this is what I use. Other times I use Shiseido’s liquid foundation. Nothing matches my olive toned skin better. I will re-purchase over and over.
