i bought it because it claimed to be waterproof, and with all the summer poolside parties, beach parties, lake trips etc where there is the potential of being thrown IN water, i didnt want to be the makeup meltdown girl. neither did i want to jump in water and emerge miraculously with blemishes that no one saw before. i’m asian, slightly tanned, and found that sand beige matches me perfectly. this foundation is slightly thick, and too much definitely makes you look like you’re wearing makeup, so i found this works best as a spot concealer bc of the great coverage. hypoallergenic (read: gentle for all the sensitive skin types like me, the box says it’s also recommended by derms and plastic surgeons for sun sensitive skin or post surgery), noncomedogenic (read: wont give you acne), fragrance free, paba free, and spf 15, as one would expect from physicians formula. what really sets this apart from other foundations is the gentleness, coverage, and that it’s longwearing/waterproof. i still need to test out their longwearing/waterproof claim, but so far i do know that it’s not transfer/rub proof. the cream formula might be water resistant, but it’s NOT cream to powder. meaning that it goes on cream, and stays cream on your skin, which made it really easy to rub off, not to mention it made me fairly shiny. both problems, i found, were solved by finishing up with a simple dusting of translucent powder over it. the antagonizing packaging is a small price to pay for how well this holds up.

couldn’t believe that it works so well. Many stores don’t have it. Today I saw it at Longs with 40% off and I wanted to give it a try. Luckily, the beige shade matches my skintone well. It didn’t use it as foundation, I just dab it on some spots on my face and it covers nicely without being cakey! Very natural which I like.

I don’t use this as foundation but it is an amazing concealer! I don’t need full coverage but this helps cover my undereye circles and the redness around my nose. lasts forever too!
