Because Flower calls it a foundation, I put this under the Foundation section. But IMO, it isn’t really a foundation; it’s more like a BB cream…but it’s a pretty darn good BB cream! Coverage and texture are light. It blends well, looks very natural on the skin and feels like I’m not wearing anything. It holds up pretty well, at least 6-8 hours with a little powder on top. It doesn’t erase everything as the name suggests, but it does result in a smoother surface and more even appearance. However, you will still need to use concealer if you have any significant redness, marks, etc. to cover.
It comes in a squeeze tube with a brush applicator, but don’t expect the brush to sub for your Sigma F80. I use the brush applicator to just get some product on my skin, and then I blend it with my BeautyBlender or fingers.
It’s a great casual foundation/BB cream for when you don’t want or need a lot of coverage and just want something simple. It can also serve as a tinted primer.
Downsides? Shade selection is limited, not going past medium/tan skin tone. There are 4 colors and a supposedly colorless “Sheer Tint.” I picked up UF2-Porcelain Tint and UF3-Ivory Tint. Porcelain Tint is fair with yellow/pink undertones and didn’t work for me. Ivory Tint actually had more of a yellow/olive undertone–rare to see in such a light shade!–and was almost perfect match. Not 100% perfect as it’s a little too yellow, but I can blend it out so you can’t tell where the product ends and uncovered skin begins.
It’s not my HG Foundation…but it is my HG “not-a-foundation.”
