I have this in the color Pecan #12. I find that this product is too red on me and transfers everywhere,

This product is not for my skin. I’m in my early 40’s with combination skin that looks decent, considering it took quite a beating in my 20’s when I went off the pill and suddenly found myself battling cystic acne and oil. It was a long journey to clear skin, but the visible pores are still an issue. This foundation seems to cling to every pore, every textured surface, every fine line….ugh! It’s light and a true cream to powder finish, just not for my skin. Tossing it.

LOVE THIS. I wear Buff and it’s a perfect shade for NC 15. FINALLY….a shade for us yellow toned paler gals. i raved about the liquid Milani foundation, but I love this so much more. it’s a true cream to powder foundation, but it isnt drying and accepts powder. Also, the product itself is more solid than most cream to powder foundations so it will last longer than any other cream to powder foundation. And the price is crazy affordable. it does have a baby power smell that goes away. it give you great coverage that minimized pores and lasts all day! I use milani powder also. Doesnt break me out and honestly, I think my skin is looking better with this. I use milani color correcting primer (black tube with orange stripe) under it and it blends beautifully. I usually don’t use primers but I was so impressed with Milani products that I got one of their primers and I do think this foundation goes on better with the primer. I use my fingers….it’s like velvet on my skin. BEST CREAM TO POWDER FOUNDATION I HAVE EVER TRIED. Great for my very combo skin. Why haven’t I found you Milani years ago??? Thank you. I also want to add that I use this with Milani’s Multi tasker face powder in color 02/light medium and it’s perfect for us NC 15 gals and it helps the foundation last all day!

I like this foundation a lot. I mainly use it to cover redness or dark circles, rather than all over my face. I also apply it just with my finger tip and have not tried the sponge. I read that this is a dupe for Benefit’s old Some Kind of Gorgeous, which I was addicted to, and I think this is a great approximation — in fact, I think it even has better coverage than the old Benefit which is disco.
I travel with this a lot; it has a good mirror and a heavy compact, and it has lasted a long time. I probably get 1 a year and have 1 extra for backup. I dust ELF compact powder on top and it sets pretty well. I love to put this on in the AM when I first wake up to cover dark circles so I don’t feel like such a zombie.
Doesn’t oxidize on me and the color is natural – -not too orange or pink. Blends in great with my fingers. Probably my most convenient HG of this type of foundation. I wear Medium 07.

Well. I used this product for a short while. It has an okay finish look. Kinda greasy which I hate in a foundation. I’m oily skin and I really wasn’t pleased with how my face gets all oily when I get out in the sun for like an hour. Coverage is not bad but You need to use lots and I mean lots to get a good coverage. Used it once and I haven’t purchased again I’ll recommend using it with a primer .It’s an okay foundation .

I bought this as a “filler” to my favorite Laura Mercier Creme compact tinted moisturizer which I love but is very, very expensive and I go through it much too quickly. I was skeptical at first because of price, however, I am very impressed. The color Medium Beige (07) matched my Laura Mercier Almond perfectly to the extent that putting one next to the other I couldn’t tell the difference. The coverage was just as good too but the Milani is a little more matte than Laura’s. They both lasted about the same however surprisingly I seem to squeeze a couple of more hours out of the Milani depending on the type of day I’m having. Overall I’m very impressed and will continue to purchase and may even phase out my LM!

Almost good. I am rather sensitive to scent, and this make-up has a strong perfume. I hate using this term – but the scent can only be described as “old lady perfume” – talcum powder, powdery violet, Elnett hairspray and that lipstick smell. I can smell this when I apply it, and even worse, for a at least 1-2 hours while it’s on.
Other than that the shade selection is poor at the the store in my area, only 4 shades. I chose Buff #9 for my NC20 skin and it is a hair too dark but wearable once well-blended. The coverage is good, medium – but can be sheered out to light (I actually mix this with some moisturiser to sheer it out) and can be built up somewhat although the finish is powdery so it likely won’t be flattering at fuller coverage.
The finish is a natural matte, and it wears well – lasting about 7 hours on my skin and doesn’t feel cakey, thick or drying. It may cling to dry patches so moisturise beforehand of course, and if you’re oily/combo like me, you may want to use a mattifying primer.
I won’t repurchase simply because a) lacking in yellow-toned shades and b) the smell is just too much for me. I’ve been using CG & Olay’s Simply Ageless cream foundation which has a more natural (less dry/powdery) finish and also no perfume.

I love this foundation from Posner Carole Cosmetics. The color, Nut Brown, is a perfect match for my skin tone, and the formula is silky, non-oily, non-drying. With this cream to Powder you don’t necessarily need a concealer product because it is medium to build able coverage. There are several beautiful shades in this foundation currently available for purchase on the website that will match most women of color beautifully, from light to dark: Honey Beige, Nut Brown, Tender Tan, and Golden Bronze.
I will always be a Posner customer.

Disclaimer: I have dry skin. This foundation may not have been aimed at my skin type.
Likes: Good coverage, it covered winter redness like none of my other foundations. Applied properly it gave me a bright, even look to the face. Staying power is also great.
Dislikes: it’s a pain to apply. I can only get a natural look by using a wet RealTechniques sponge otherwise it’s streaky and cakey. Same if I apply too much. Also, The Smell. It’s a combination of chemicals and perfume that I can smell throughout the day while wearing it.

I have oily skin and I found this product and it said oil free so I researched on it and the reviews were kinda Cool so I decided to buy one and try it.
I have a few black spots.. This product is just terrible! It fucking sucks. I apply it on and within 15 minutes my face gets all oily!!! It has this greasy texture. I was really disappointed With this product. The coverage is light and you have to use like lots of it to get a good coverage. It has a dull finish up look. I would certainly never buy this product again. Stay away from this if You’ve got oily skin.

I have the colour Latte, an almost perfect match to my skin. I have combination/oily skin and liked the fact that it’s a creme to powder, this did make it hard to build. The coverage is light/medium, my only problem with this product is that it’s not easy to blend, definitely not a foundation for when you’re in a rush. Not the worst but not one of my favourites. The best drugstore foundation I’ve come across is the Rimmel Match Perfection, would highly recommend. (Just in case you are shade Latte for this foundation too, you would be shade 303 True Nude for Rimmel)

I bought this creme to powder in barley. It says it has medium to full coverage, it can covers my small acne scars but if you have red blemishes I think it’s better if you apply concealer. This foundation is not the best but also not the worst out there, I think there are many foundations that suits me better than this
abjectFalcon5
I love this foundation! It is full coverage, but without looking unnatural. I used to use the sponge when I first got it, however that can make this product look cakey. So I now just use my fingers and I find that works much better (but takes a little longer). For £7.99 I really cannot complain. I think it creates a flawless look to my skin. I find it lasts nearly all day with no touch ups and my face doesn’t look oily throughout my work shift. My only complaint is all the Superdrug stores I go to seem to stock Barley as the palest tone and that is a bit too dark for my pale skin (ok if I use a bit of fake tan, but I don’t do that very often) so I have ordered the Oyster shade online and will update this when I receive that. I use a powder to set it but only a very small amount, too much and again, it can look cakey. This doesn’t break me out at all aswell like Mac & Estee Lauder tend to.
pitifulKitten6
I like this foundation it has a really nice medium to full coverage. I also love the range of shades that it comes in I use white rose. Using the sponge provided I find a lot of the product gets wasted so I use my fingers and it works great. Only problem I find is that I do tend to get quite shiny while wearing this so a powder is needed for my t zone. Would be great I think for dry or normal skin.

I wanted to love this as I used to use a similar product by Coty Prestige which was d/c. I bought rose white which is a great colour for my pale skin. My issue was the coverage which seemed to be transparent. I dont get spots but I do have some broken veins on my cheeks. Also it melted very quickly and I had to touch up with powder.
I will try it over a primer next time but so far I would not repurchase. On the plus side this comes in a huge range of colours from the palest ivory to dark chocolate especially if you buy from the website.

This is one of my HG foundations. I have dry skin, and do not find this foundation to be greasy. It also does not have any sort of smell. What I do like about it, is that it only takes the tiniest amount to provide coverage. I have redness on my nose and cheeks, and this product does a great job covering it up. I use a primer underneath, as well as a setting powder on top, and have not had any problems with transfer. I apply with a brush, I stipple it on and then swirl it around for poreless, flawless coverage. It feels so light, it doesn’t even feel like I am wearing it! I love it!

I sooooo wanted to give this product 5 lippies and here’s why. The very first day I wore this cream to power foundation, my husband said, “you’re face looks really nice” now he always compliments me. You look great, your hair looks good, etc. but to give an EXACT compliment on my face and how nice it looked (and my husband does not care one bit about makeup) this product MUST be doing some amazing things! But let’s get with the rest of it…
Color : the selection isnt TERRIBLE, (i bought mine at walmart) and ive heard the website offers more choices. I was able to find a color close to what I would be. Warm Beige (i think is number 14) seemed to be the best fit because it looked to have a lot more of a yellow color to it than the rest of the choices i saw.
Price : CANNOT beat the price!! Definitely affordable, will not break the bank!
Coverage/wear : Medium coverage. I suppose it can be build-able, but it started to feel a little thick on my face if I went over it more than twice. It does the job on covering my acne scars though. Once product touches your face it is so smooth and creamy, a really nice silky feel, however, it does seem to transfer easily. If I forgot and touched my face (because of an itch or what have you) I could feel the product come off on my finger. I don’t think this would be good for prolonged wear without touchups.
Packaging : Super cute, looks more expensive than what it is. Easily portable.
I have not tried this product with primer, or any powder to set it. I have only applied it over moisturizer. I have tried applying with the sponge that it comes with as well as a flat top foundation brush. I definitely prefer the sponge. Even though some reviewers have mentioned that the sponge soaks up too much product and you’re, in turn, wasting it…I feel like I get a better application, a more flawless look, using the sponge.
I have dry skin, and was worried that this would enhance the dryness. This didn’t happen….until the 4th day of wear. Now, I can’t say whether it’s something in this product that made my face drier over the few days of wearing it, but when I applied it this morning, HOLY DRY SKIN!! It was terrible!! Clung to and enhanced every dry area on my face.I immediately had to take everything off and wear a different foundation. I was so disappointed. I was really falling in love with it. So maybe this product would be better for a more combination type skin. Not so much on the oily side, but no so dry either.

When i bought Milani Cream-to-powder foundatin i thought it would have even coverage.I was wrong, this foundation does not have coverage and it is very greasy.I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!

I am 72 years old with a dry to normal complexion and still a makeup junkie! Until I retired some 7 years ago I often used Chanel – Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation (which is now discontinued and was a beautiful product) in between using MAC – Mineralized Skin Finish Powder in Light. The Chanel is a very expensive product. So being retired I needed to look around for something cheaper.
So today I received the Sleek creme to powder product I thought I would try.
I have to say that on first impressions I am very pleased with it. I stippled it on and buffed it up using a Sigma Round Kabuki Brush F82 and it gave me a really lovely flawless finish. (It must have had to work hard for me)
Anyway I am going to continue using it. I purchased the colour Shell and I will see how I get on with it and how it lasts during the day.
I know most of the reviewers are a lot younger than me but I thought some might be interested in reading a review from an older generations point.
Update 7/05/2015. Well I am now 75 and still obsessed with makeup. I am still using the Sleek Creme to Powder and found that although having tried other products this still gives me the coverage and finish I like. Other similar types of product often seem heavier and more difficult to blend. Also there seems to be more choice at the higher end of the market,so the Sleek product is still good value for money.
I am looking at checking the shade I currently use and will probably purchase the small tester kit that Sleek do. I think it will be worth it to check my shade.
I hope it will not be nearly another 3 years before I update this review! Thanks to all of you who read it
Update 27/06/2015
Well I purchased the tester kit and it was a good investment. I changed my shade and have now purchased Linen which as I am older my skin shade has altered. I am still very pleased with the quality of the product and the result and it’s affordable price.
I apply it with either a Sigma F80 brush or the Real Techniques Buffing brush.
The tester is not wasted as I can use the darker shades if I want to do some contouring and shading (helps the sagging chin as you get older).
Definitely the last update for a while. I hope this encourages you to try this product – no I am not affiliated to them! Thanks once again to those who read the review.

I love this foundation; I was so impressed by it. Having a medium to dark skin tone usaully means I can never find foundation that fits my natural colour perfectly; usually they are to orange or too dark but the nest shade up is too light but I was amazed by sleeks range of colours going from the very pale to the very dark. I got this in the shade mocha which on the sleek website is firmly in the middle of their colour spectrum. The coverage of the foundation is excellent, it gives a matte finish but is extremly light weight and smooth. It lasts all day for me and is easy to take off. This packaging is really good, its perfect for when you’re on the go as it has a holder for a make up sponge underneath the compact and a mirror above with the actual makup sitting in between. For me, this is my HG for foundations, I will definatley be being this again when I run out.

I have bought this product twice, for the first few weeks of using I wasn’t sure, but as I got better at applying it, and realised I didn’t need powder it became a staple. It’s full coverage, blends well, and the packaging is brilliant if you like it portable.
I apply with a brush if I have time and am going out, but the sponge works well for quicker application and touch-ups.
Some have said it cakes, as I have teenage/slightly oily skin, it doesn’t on me, and if I do have dry patches for any reason, it works better applied with the fingers to those areas. It is made for black/mixed women, who rarely have dry skin.
However those who have said it only has one shade for lighter skins are incorrect, the website has five shades lighter than Shell, which is good for paler skin tones. I have bought it twice, once in Latte in the summer, and once in Bamboo this winter.
Because I like less coverage for everyday wear, I often only wear this in the evenings, or for special occasions.
It’s unscented and has never made me break out.
