Oh dear, where do I start….
I am so incredibly disappointed with this foundation, I quite simply cannot understand how my experience with it can be so different from other peoples’.
I’ve got very pale, cool-toned dry skin. In my experience, even the most luminous of foundations cannot even begin to make me look shiny, as a matter of fact, I frequently apply a few drops of facial oil under my foundation and even that does not manage to make me look greasy. One day, I read that Mehron’s cream foundation was used by Kylie Jenner’s makeupartist. I did a spot of research and discovered that this foundation was a fans’ favourite and had glowing reviews. It was supposed to give a flawless, skin-like finish, have medium to high coverage and be moisturising. I was so excited for this product that the disappointment tasted even more bitter. First, the coverage left a lot to be desired. Even with a heavy application, I could still see my surface redness poking through and it did not cover my blemishes . I could have dealt with the low coverage if my skin had looked fresh and glowing. Sadly this foundation looked like I was wearing a greasy chalky mask all over my face. Yes, this manages to look both greasy and chalky which is no small feat. This foundation highlighted dry patches I didn’t even know I had (I did try several bases/primers underneath but to no avail). My forehead looked especially bad since this foundation settles into any fine lines you might have. Weirdly enough, it never dried down on my cheeks and nose and would come off at the slightest touch. On those areas, it looked terribly greasy, not in a healthy, glowy way but in a “I’ve cold cream all over my face” way. Besides, while the colour range is impressive (Light 1 and 2 actually matched my skin which is pretty rare, 2 being slightly darker and warmer), the finish looked so dull and lifeless on my skin that keeping it as a mixer is not even a viable solution. To add insult to injury, my best friend actually commented on how bad my foundation looked every time I tried wearing it in front of her so this will be going straight to the bin.

PALE friendly – I ordered samples in Light 1, 2 and 3. I’m extremely fair and both L1 and L2 are great matches for me in neutral very light tones. L3 is much darker and too peachy. Mehron Light 1 is comparable to the KVD Lock It in shade L41. The only difference in the Mehron L1 and 2 is that 2 has slightly more pink in it. I found this quite difficult to apply since it’s so thick. Shade wise this is amazing if your quite pale like me. I have very dry skin and I enjoyed the dewy moisturizing finish of this. I will try to mix it with a primer to see if this helps it apply easier.

I don’t use this all over my face because I find it to be a bit to greasy but it is super blendable and creamy. I use it to shape and highlight my brows and it works wonders.

Loving this. I am an NW20 in MAC Studio Sculpt with pink undertones and for me this matches a Light04 in the Mehron Celebre HD. For contour I use the Med02 as it is less yellow than the colours above or below it. VERY subtle but perfect for everyday.

I have very sensitive, reactive, blemish-prone skin and try to avoid many chemical ingredients to which have reacted negatively. After some patch testing of dental materials, it appears I react to silicones. Both the internet and the make up artist at the theatre supply store assured me that Mehron has no silicone. Not true at all. I ended up with many clogged pores the very next morning after the one time I used this product. Regarding the performance… this is full coverage that you must apply with a brush or sponge over a primer or moisturizer. You really need to blend very well. You also need to set this with spray or powder. Unlike most foundations, this stayed on through my work day. You also need to use OCM or a good make up remover followed by another cleanser and toner. If you don’t mind the extra time needed for application and removal, this is very cost-effective.

this has become my daily foundation. This is truly affordable and has decent coverage. I have medium 1 I am nc 25 with olive skintone and redness. I have been using this everyday for foundation and I am very pleased(of course im pleased with wayne goss’ recommendations. this definitely beats any drug store liquid and most high end liquids(creams are so underrated) I find that this lasts long (I do set with rcma no color) I like this foundation because it has the ability to conceal my under eyes very well when Im in a hurry or I feel lazy. another wayne goss tip. I mix 1-2 drops of jojoba oil in with the foundation to hydrate it before I use it on my face and it works great and is seriously a life changer
this is definitely a high quality makeup to try. my only tip is to use a silicone based primer (reviva labs primer or cinema secrets(love love) with this and set it almost immediately. great foundation!! will repurchase. I use a bb with it and it blends well and you get so much product for the price $11

I am a NC20 and I got Medium 1 and it matches 100%. I have yellow undertones. The product lasts the whole day for me. I have oily, acne-prone skin. I would say the coverage is somewhere around medium-heavy which is perfect for me. I can build it up without looking too cakey and feeling too heavy.
One tip I would like to give is to apply with a flat foundation brush (I use the Real Techniques one), and if you like for a smooth dewy application: mist your face (with setting spray) before and after.
I prefer this foundation over my Mac and Sephora foundation. I got it online on camerareadycosmetics.com
Hope the review helped! 🙂

I absolutely love their foundations, Cake Makeup and Pressed Powders and loose Powders. This review is for the HD cream its wonderful! And so cheap. Yes I cont to use and buy department store foundations too, but I use the Eurasia Fair and or Japonis mixed togather-the undertones are perfect in this line I have Eurasia Ivory which is almost like yellow tinged Ivory not Gesihia opaque and it looks flawless I have the pressed powder in the same color and it is wonderful dry or wet. Really -you can manipulate the coverage as much as you want, you can sheer it out or apply it thick. I recommend you have well moisturized skin but not wet, and a primer helps, I use a damp beauty blender. After ward I do the press and roll technique with a powder so important you set it with a powder since its so emollient and creamy – in daylight the color is undetectable. RCMA has their equivalent shades which is the “shinto Line” but the shinto line is so dark and green in their line. This looks great if your anywhere from NC-35-NC 45 the Eurasia line is for you. You can manipulate and mix and match them it its warm but golden warm not red. Coverage stands up but if your going to be running around sweaty with little chance of powder touch up I recommend something less creamy or use a mattifer which Mehron makes too and a loose powder touch up. LOVE THIS

i am nc20 and i got med 1 and it’s perfect. i’m part greek so the colour suits me so well….it’s such a perfect product. i loved mac studio fix but it made me break out. what i loved about it was the hd ‘airbrush’ type finish it gave me. this product does just that!! it costs about 8 pounds on ebay. you only need the teeeeniest amount – i use a sigma flat top kabuki and lightly tap it onto my skin. when i use my fingers it looks awful (so don’t do that). it doesn’t really have a smell. it lasts all day. i have combo skin that is a bit oily and actually it looks really good on my skin, even at the end of the day it just looks dewy and pretty. it’s pretty high coverage and does make you look like you’re wearing makeup…but i like to look madeup. i’d say it’s an airbrush type finish. my friend borrowed it and she loved it 🙂 and i recently modeled and the mua used this product 😉 so clearly works pretty well on all skin

Best foundation I’ve ever used!! So moisturising and leaves a perfect radiant finish but doesn’t look oily. The coverage is unreal, you don’t even need concealer. I guessed what colour i needed and it is the first foundation that has matched my skin perfectly 🙂 (I have really pale skin and light 3 was a perfect match) I only wish the packaging was better but for the price I really don’t care.
