A drugstore gem! Sleek packaging with generous sized highlight and contour pans, great shades too. I like this better than my old drugstore standby of WnW MegaGlo Contouring Palette in Dulce de Leche – even though I really like the contour powder in that one – because I prefer having the highlight vs a matte “brightening” powder. The highlight is very very pale and subtle, I actually think it is best suited as a brow highlight rather than on the cheekbones, etc. The pigment of the contour shade however, is stronger than it looks. I barely picked up any of it on my brush and it seriously carved out my cheekbones with no effort at all. Despite my love of cream products, this powder is not “powdery” so it does not accentuate dryness on my skin which is also why I happen to love this. The rectangular packaging is much more practical as well. Like I said, a drugstore gem.

I’m fair and cool toned, and this is a great ashy toned contour powder that isn’t too dark. I don’t use the highlight, but that’s just me, it’s a fine product, I’m just not that into highlight. The powder if finely milled and blends well. I use a light hand, so that I don’t look too heavily contoured, and I blend well. However, this product does build up easily so if you’re going out or you just prefer a more heavily contoured look, you can easily achieve that. This probably wouldn’t work for tan/deep skin tones, but for fair/medium, you will probably be happy with it. The powder lasts all day without fading and the price is great for the amount of product you get. The highlight is pretty as well (even though I don’t use it, it is lovely). Great product and I’d repurchase.

This contour pallete is just perfect for the contour shade. Highlighter is barely noticeable. Maybe useable for a daily makeup.

If you are very fair with neutral or cool undertones, this is the perfect contour for you.
I’ve been looking for years for the perfect contour powder for me. It was never very hard to find the right shade, but since I am very, very fair, almost all the powders were far too pigmented to use. I would barely dab my brush in and still end up with an obvious muddy brown streak on my face. This powder in Ashy Radiance is perfect though – just enough pigment to show up, but also sheer enough to be buildable. The tone is also great: it’s a perfect neutral, not too warm or too cool.
The only downside to this is the highlight shade included. It doesn’t even show up on my skin so I don’t use it, but if you are darker than me, you might be able to use it. Personally, I just depotted the contour shade and popped it in my z-palette.

The contour shade of this duo is really not this ashy in real life, and it’s definitely not a contour shade for me. I have yellow-olive undertone, and I’m a light skinned Asian. However, it does make a nice bronzer on me. I can’t really go in very heavy hand, because it’s a pretty warm shade, a pretty rich brown, luckily I’m not into heavy bronzing anyway. That means this will work on medium skin tones as well, it’s good to know that a product can cover more user bases. If you’re medium-dark or darker, this might look ashy on you, Catrice had another one in this line, I think it goes slightly darker and has a more yellow undertone so it won’t be as ashy I hope, but it’s not necessarily much darker. I’m not surprised but at the same time irritated, because Catrice (and in the same breath, Essence), has always been notoriously darker skinned people unfriendly. This is a rare occasion that I find a product that add colour from them that works for me too, even though I’m light skinned because they often get the undertone wrong.
I love the effortlessness of this product, when I’m in a hurry, I just grab a fluffy brush and lightly run it over the sides of my face, add a bit subtle definition and I look so much more alive. The highlight in this duo is very nice as well, but it can pull a bit frosty on me, because it had a pink undertone while I’m very prominently yellow. The quality of the two powders differs slightly. The highlight is a bit softer and very very finely milled, if you’re eyeing the Catrice High Glow Mineral highlighting powder, get this instead. I have both and they are the exact same tone and colour, the only difference is this one is much finer and softer, thus the glow it gives is more subtle, whereas the High Glow feels a bit rougher to the touch, can be slightly glittery and does emphasise textured skin, at the same time much more intense of a highlight. The contour powder is much more powdery, a lot of powder kicks up whether you touch it with your finger or use a brush, but it’s not dry and patchy at all, it blends out very nicely and evenly.
At the price, and given the nice sleek packaging, as well as the rather generous amount of product (10 grams in total), I’m very pleased with this product. I wish they would cut the crap and cater to more skin and undertone variations, while this is a great find but I’m tired of the struggle.
Update: it’s summer now and somehow I don’t find this as warm as I did in the winter. It’s still not a contour-able shade for me, but I do find myself build up more, as my skin has understandably gotten a but more sun. It’s also gotten considerably less powdery? I don’t know how that happened but it is. When I swirl the brush in the pan, I don’t get as much kick up anymore. Finger swatch still really powdery though. I don’t mind any of that at all, over all my opinion about the product doesn’t really change. Just note that if you’re light but still manage to get a bit more colour in the summer, this bronzer (It’s what I use it for personally) might not fit as well as if does in the winter time. I still enjoy it, I’ve made quite a dent in it, which is really rare as cheek products go for me.

This was a spontaneous buy. It’s now my new daily contour. It replaced my KvD contour pallet. It’s a ash/cool tone on me so the prefect contour shade. I loved my KvD but it’s very pigmented and the shades are dark. If I’m tanned it’s perfect but it’s mid MI winter. Catrice isn’t super pigmented but that’s great because you’re allowed to build up. I have to use a large stipple brush and barely tap into KvD. I can use NARS Ita brush with this and get a more detailed placement. You can get a soft natural look and the powder isn’t messy or dusty. A bonus IMO it depots pretty easily, it doesn’t crack or flake. Pick it up during a bogo

This must be new because I can’t believe there are 0 reviews of this on MUA! I LOVE THIS!! I picked this up a few weeks ago when browsing around Ulta and noticed it. The shade I have is called “ashy radiance”. I believe they had a warmer one, too, but I don’t know the name. I also only see ashy radiance on ulta’s website. This is the perfect light-medium/cool contour powder. It comes with a smaller pan of highlight, too. It’s pretty, kind of shimmery, but I have used it a few times and have liked it. I think I would really like it as an eyeshadow/inner corner highlight so I need to try that. I apply bronzer around my face and then apply my cheek/nose/jawline contour over that using this. The shade is honestly just so perfect for sculpting out your face. I’ve used this as a crease shade, too. I actually picked up a mini Kevyn Aucoin palette at Sephora for $25 with a tiny little medium sculpting powder and tiny candlelight highlight powder and this was kind of similar, more so the sculpt than the highlight, and this was only $8. I ended up just taking back the Kevyn Aucoin one w/o using it because I had this one, this was cheaper and the KA one had the TINIEST pans ever. Plus, I didn’t really NEED 2 of the almost same contour palettes. I love this and would DEFINITELY repurchase. Try it out! It’s only $8.
