Picked this up @ TJMaxx for $19.99 and it is my favorite Bronzer EVER! It is the perfect tone for my Light, Cool-toned skin. When I get sun, my face turns a brown with a pinky undertone to it. Bronzers with any yellow or orange in them look horrible, totally unnatural and dirty in me. Because of that I have avoided bronzers. So glad to happen upon this one in Dream Filter for such a steal @ TJMaxx. It looks so incredibly natural on me. It’s not heavy or dry looking on the skin; it looks seamless, doesn’t go on overpowering looking, basically blends itself with my IT Cosmetics #225 Powder Complexion brush, yet is easy to build up if you so desire. It goes on smooth as butter and never patchy. Zero orange tone in this shade. The pink highlighter shade works well to set my undereyes and I usually stay away from setting them as that tends to bring out texture. This one does not do that. The compact is big enough to get your larger complexion brushes in yet it is a very wafer thin compact with a huge mirror. I’m anxiously trying to locate this shade again at TJMaxx to have a backup and avoid paying full price at Sephora…but I definitely would pay full price if I have no other option since it’s that perfect! So happy to have finally found my HG bronzer after 54 years of avoiding them like the plague due to the dirty-orange look they always left me with. Wish I could find this Bronzer shade in just a solo compact.

Not worth it. Packaging clasp broke literally within 2 days of owning it. The powders are finely milled, but colors you can absolutely find for a much better price elsewhere. Also, I’m light/cool skin tone and the “highlighter” does not show up at all on my skin.

This is amazing for neutral skin. I still need just a touch of blush with this but it is the closest natural look that I had.

I am completely astounded and impressed with the quality of this product. The powders are incredible to touch, they are so silky smooth its indescribable, you really need to feel it for yourself. As someone who always buys foundation in the lightest possible cool tone shade I have found the dream filter to be just perfect on my skin. The contour shade really looks like a natural shadow and blends seamlessly.
The highlight shade is (for me) the unexpected star of the show. I find it to be the best possible way to set my under eye concealer. It minimizes the fine lines around my eyes and adds just a tiny bit of coverage making the last little hint of blue under my eyes disappear. It feels silky and light-weight throughout the day. It doesn’t crease and it looks exactly the same when I take my make-up off after a 16 hour day as it did when I first applied it.
10/10 Will repurchase.

Was searching for a contouring palette when I came across this. Im not super big on contouring so I wanted something simple (too many of the popular options had colors I would never use and it just felt like a waste of money to me). This comes with only two colors (a highlight and a shade) but the amount is generous. I was torn between the light toned and medium toned palettes and ended up going for the light toned because that’s what the Sephora employee suggested. I’d have to say though, I wish I went with the medium toned because the contouring color is a VERY pinky brown. I’m able to work with it if I use a light hand but I’m very strongly considering exchanging it. The packaging is lovely and sleek (as Marc Jacobs packaging usually is). The formula is pretty nice. Very smooth and silky and wears well throughout the day but I find the contour shade gets very dusty when I go to pick up product with my brush.
Personally, I use this one of two ways. I either go for the traditional contouring route or I swirl my brush around to pick up both the highlight and the shade and dust that on the hollows of my cheeks to get some general warmth (like a bronzer).
I’m not too sure if I’d buy this again (after I exchange for the right color) largely because it’s $50. I haven’t ventured too far into the realm of contouring but I feel I could find something better for that price. But until then this is a really nice product.
