I love this, I have medium and they are great. If I want a no makeup look I use the light shade as concealer and contour and the blush colour and because it’s not powder you can’t tell I have makeup on. I honestly love this

The 1st one I bought was in the old packaging and was a pre loved item but I thought to say it’s a “cream contour” the product wasn’t very creamy in fact really dry! Left awful blotchy marks on my face as it wouldn’t blend! So I decided to give it another go when new packaging came out thinking new formula and this palette seems a little bit more workable ( probably because the other was 2nd hand) but the product is still dry!! There’s 6 shades includes 3 highlight and 3 contour and it’s good they cater to different skin tones.

I got this in Fair because that’s what tjmaxx HAD basically. I should wear light or medium I’m NC20-25 I wear Medium-deep in MAC blot powder but I made this work. It’s just that the light colors are all that much lighter giving a good highlight! 🙂 there is one shade dark enough to contour with its definitely dark enough. I’d say 2 of the shades are good for under eye, there is a white I like best for going down my nose/cheekbones, 1 shade for contour id say I didn’t do too bad for $20. I’d returned it if it was $40 but it’s worth it for the price. My mom said the contour shade looked dark i have to do a lot of blending w this. I took a pic I liked the effect. I won’t rebuy in Fair I think it will take very long of a time to use up if I did I’d go for a different shade.

I initially wasn’t a fan of the product. However, after a bit of experimenting, I did end up liking it a lot but there are still some issues. I love the highlight shade for my undereye area, nose and forehead but it ran out so quickly and ABH have not brought out refills yet which is such a shame and meant that I had to resort to a cream highlighter alternative for the time being whilst still using the contour shades and waiting patiently for ABH to finally bring out the cream contour refills. The cream contour didn’t perform very well for my cheek area which is a shame but when I use the highlight and contour shades for my forehead, it looks amazing and gives me the illusion of a less ginormous fod. So basically for me:
Pros:
Looks good on my T-zone area and undereye area when blended in with a damp Beauty Blender
Good coverage
Stayed on for a long period
Cons:
Didn’t blend well on the hollows of my cheeks
No refills available as of yet
Can be difficult to blend without damp Beauty Blender

After reading all the reviews I was not expecting this contour palette to work with my dry skin but I was pleasantly surprised. The colours glided onto my skin and blended like a dream they did not cling to any of my dry patches at all. I got it in the shade fair and I have used every shade but the shimmery one so far. I would definitely recommend this contour palette but it is a little expensive as honestly I can see myself hitting pan soon and I’ve only had it for a month or so

I really wanted to like this because ABH are one of my favourite beauty brands however I just couldn’t. The problem with this is that the colours blend out too much, you can’t even see them so they make little difference. The highlighting colours are too cakes, dry and hard to apply and when they blend out they look terrible. (Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer is a great alternative). As for the dark contour shades, they’re all generally the same colour when applied onto the skin, one of the, seems to be very liquidy while the others are too dry to even blend or apply. You need a lot to even make a difference to your face, I wouldn’t bother with this product.
I also don’t like the packaging, the clear top gets messy incredibly easily.

I HIT PAN ON THIS THING OH MY DEAR SWEET BABY DUCKS.
And I’m not surprised about that either. Well actually I am but you get my point.
I used to use this all the time and honestly the dryness of this product is a plus, you don’t want your contour to start floating away do you? Maybe I just have super oily cheeks but I like the fact that it’s dry, and the technique of applying contour and highlight under foundation is awesome with this formula. I’m an nc42 and they were out of medium so I bought this in dark and the undereye concealer shade is perfect and so is the orange as well and the third shade on the top I use as a contour although I’m guessing it’s supposed to be a highlight shade for very deep skin. (Weird to think I’m using a highlight shade as contour cause Imma brown kid but anyway).
This palette will last you awhile there’s a lot of product in this, and it stays on the whole day and it has great pigment to it as well. The color corrector works great and most shades are neutral although the two shades on the bottom row have more red in them. Third shade going from the left to the right is more neutral.
I dont know what else to say, would I recommend to a friend? To be honest I wouldn’t, but that’s cause this gives more of a dramatic contour that is noticeable and a lot of people I know don’t want that. But this is great for women who are above nc45 to…Not sure what shade but if you have very deep skin then I would mix the darkest contour shade with something but it’s all trial and error.
Oh P.S: this is hard to use with a brush, better with fingers and better blended out with fingers as well unless you want your foundation to come rolling off.
UPDATE: I realized how little product is in this palette or at least how fast it is to use up, and that’s why I took off a point for the price. I guess ABH made it that way because creams are supposed to go bad faster so the palette is easier to get full use of before it goes bad but honestly…I dunno man I’m kinda sad because I adore these shades and I wanted to get the medium one but I don’t think I am unless I can get it for less than the 52 dollars it costs here. I realized that’s probably why I hit pan lol…
That being said, if you are of a “medium” complexion and get the deep palette instead I feel like you can get a lot more use out of it because you’ll only need a little bit of the deepest two shades to get a similar look to the lighter contour colors so it’ll last you longer and I guess that’s what I’m going to do as well (I find mixing both and applying it lightly looks similar to the other two shades I use). But I’m kinda sad now this felt like a great product-and it is don’t get me wrong but I’m pretty serious about the longevity of the product if I’m paying a lot of money for it.

I gotta rave. I have fair, pink-cool toned skin that’s thankfully pretty wrinkle-free (oily!), but at my age, I’m developing shadows where none existed before. Namely, shadows under the eyes, shadows under the corners of my mouth where the cheeks are starting their eventual downward slide (lol). Just little things that make me look more tired and older.
I normally don’t wear foundation and look pretty haggard in our conference room’s lighting when I do client videoconferences, because the shadows in there are horrible. I used this kit (in Fair) lightly today, putting lighter shades on areas that are usually in shadow, adding some darker contour under the cheeks and to lightly define the nose. I looked so rested on the videoconference! Could not believe it. I usually cringe when I share the camera. Had four projects due in two days, hadn’t slept much in a couple of weeks. Damn, this faked like I just came back from a Caribbean cruise.
If you blend it out really well, it doesn’t look heavy like even regular foundation can. I just used the RT blender with MAC Prep + Prime to blend it into the skin over my normal primer/mattifier (Clinique Instant Perfector)–no other foundation so the skin still looks like SKIN, not a makeup mask. I did the same for a wedding a couple of weeks ago, and one of the guys told me I looked the best I ever had, and the photos from that night are happily free of those aging sag-shadows.
And this is funny but my 40-something self learned about it and how to apply it from a 16 year old on Youtube (should out to omqkazzy). Go see her everyday makeup routine video to see how/where she applies it. Got a GC to Macy’s for Christmas, and this is what it went for.
I don’t think I’d ever do this every day since I prefer a lighter face, but I’ll definitely reach for it on days that I need to look rested or be on camera. I *think* it may clog a pore here and there on my cheeks where I apply the cheekbone contour, but for what it does, I cannot even dock a star. I’ll just keep the extractor handy.

I held off on this product for a while for a few reasons: it was too expensive, I was happy with my benefit hoola bronzer & I was scared of cream contour.
But I’ve always wanted that dramatic Kardashian contour so, when ABH had their amazing Black Friday sale, I took the leap.
I’ve been using the cream contour & powder contour kit together for the past couple weeks now (after finally getting the courage to try it) and I love it! It was really intimidating at first, having 6 colours and trying to figure out which goes where but I was about to quickly get the hang of it.
My only complaint is that my nose tends to get a bit more oily throughout the day and for some reason it’s showing a lot. But maybe I need to powder more…

I scored this in medium @TJ Maxx for $17.99, the outside cardboard sleeve it came in was torn up a little, but the palette was complete and perfect, regular price is about $42…its pretty good. I wouldn’t repurchase it for $42 when its not any better than my NYX contour palette that cost $16, but its still a great product, creamy contours, blend well etc..I would buy it again on clearance, but I will never need to, since I need to learn to use what I have, and will never be able to use 1/2 the contour products I currently have..lolol..and I RARELY contour!…the life of a makeup junkie.????
