I normally use salon brands. I need to watch my budget better and decided to stop being a snob and buy a mass-market kind of brand. I like a lot of other Dove products and this was on clearance for $2 and change at my neighborhood Kroger. (That should have been a clue…) Long story short, this gave me the worst hair day I’ve had in a very long time. The scent is very heavy and perfumey. My hair feels like it was coated in wax. My hair feels and smells so gross that I’m resisting the urge to rewash it.

Love this shampoo, I have damaged hair from bleach and dry from living in high dessert climate, this shampoo was super gentle on my hair and scalp, the scent was very mild and reminded me of the scents of shampoos I bought in Europe, I have a vey sensitive nose and easily get headaches from heavy scented fragrances. My hair came out soft and shiny, I have a slight dryness in my scalp today but with 90-100F degree weather the shampoo is the not always the culprit. I didn’t loose more hair than usual in the shower which is great.
EDIT: the more I used it, the more it dried my hair out, it has keratin and coconut oil, probably too much protein for my hair, it also makes me shed like crazy, this product does the complete opposite for the age group that is targeted for, never again.

I just tried this for the first time today…I have to agree with the first reviewer—this stuff has a very unpleasant and lingering odor.
Unusable for me. Definitely will not repurchase. I will be returning this tube.

This cleanses very well and leaves my colored fine hair feeling very nice but the scent is overwhelming. It smells strongly of men’s aftershave/cologne and it lasts! So if you’ve been looking for a shampoo with a heavy fragrance here it is.
I left my hair on purpose without any styling aids and dried it to see the result. My hair came out somewhat full without flyaways and laid in the style it was cut with little effort. This is close to a miracle as my hair is fine, color treated and full of colics so these results have been very good. I just hope I can put up with the scent. The scent is too strong for me so I passed it off to my husband.

I really like this shampoo and conditioner when I reverse shampoo. If you use them in the typical order, the results kind of suck. anyway, onto my review. I love the scent of this line, and I love that it really does give me more volume. My hair makes no sense because it’s thick, but at the top it always looks so flat. I need something to make my hair look decent because I don’t heat style my hair (lazy, not good at it, don’t want the damage). My hair really does look and feel thicker and stronger with this line. I wish the packaging was different, but that’s not a huge deal.

I love this stuff! I have Caucasian curly/ wavy hair. It’s also very corse,dry, and thick. This is the only conditioner that has made my hair feel soft like when I was a teenager. If you have fine limp hair this wouldn’t be for you.

I got a sample size bottle in my Glossybox. Very disappointing product. One of those conditioners that do absolutely nothing to your hair. I literally had to put half of the bottle of product on my hair and it didn’t even feel like I have anything on it (I wasn’t feeling that sleek conditioner feeling). Once i rinsed my hair as expected result was like I haven’t used any conditioner at all. Yes, I’m young and this conditioner is for aging hair but it also says that it can be used for damaged hair (just like mine are). but as I said it did absolutely nothing to me. Would not recommend this product.

I think I like the conditioner better than the shampoo which from me, who usually could live without conditioners, is saying a lot. But this makes my fine color treated hair manageable with little work and seems to tone down the heavy scent of the shampoo. Comes in a great tube. Doesn’t weigh my hair down and controls flyaways. Makes my hair shiny.
