First a little about my hair: It’s long and although my strands aren’t thick or coarse I do have lots of hair. Because I color treat it can get dry, but nothing crazy. Not perfect by any means, but I’m not asking for a miracle from products.
I went through a full bottle of this and the matching shampoo, which I also reviewed. I love the smell which is definitely a fresh grapefruit scent but not sour or harsh. The conditioner did not weigh my hair down but it did leave my hair soft and reduced frizz. That being said, eventually the shampoo started really drying my hair out and leaving it tangly. The conditioner was not able to eliminate that. Eventually I switched to a different line. For whatever reason I don’t really like to mix and match (though I know there’s no real reason not to) so I probably won’t buy the conditioner again. It smells great but is nothing really special.

I have fine very dense hair that frizzes and is dry from coloring. This softens and smooths it nicely. Like most conditioners, if you can leave it on for at least 5 minutes you will see the best results. This seems to be custom made for my hair type.
My routine for amazing hair:
Head and Shoulders Strong and Thick (I have no dandruff or scalp problems but this thickens and makes my hair look great more than any other shampoo I’ve tried)
Unite 7seconds Leave In Conditioner — won’t be without this one
It’s a Ten leave on Conditioner
Wow styling cream after it’s dry —won’t be without this one either!
My hair looks gorgeous when I use these and blow dry and then flat iron it.

I like this product. I used to use this line all the time in college, when I thought spending $20+ on conditioner was no big deal. This smells really nice (reminds me of the generic bubblegum flavor they would add to all children’s prescription medicine, which is oddly comforting lol). I have curly 3b hair, which means my hair demands moisture. This is hydrating for me, not sure about the color protection, I’d have to keep using it some more to see.The price tag is super steep though, I’m not sure if I would buy it again at full price. bought this on sale for $5 at Walgreens, can you believe it!!! Anyway if you don’t kid springing a few extra dollars to try it, it’s a nice conditioner. Not heavy at all.

Made my hair dull and slightly tacky.

This is really decent conditioner . It is light enough that it doesn’t make my hair lank . It’s moisturising enough for my processed , long , curly hair . I find it really moisturising and softening . Makes hair silky and shine and it’s probably one of my favourite fragrances in haircare . At first I didn’t think it was anything special and not worth the price tag , but the more I use it – the more I love it . It lasts forever too .

I buy this all the time. It was my go to until they release the new PrX line.

This conditioner works well with its shampoo counterpart to smooth fine, color-treated hair. My hair is often very difficult to manage and I have only been able to use two conditioners successfully in the last five years to control my hair. Make that three now. This conditioner softens hair without weighing it down and detangles (a miracle for fine-haired girls!). It also smells amazing for hours after you wash it. I will definitely repurchase this product when I run out.

This conditioner is very rich and moisturizing. It was too much for me to use every day, it ended up weighing down my hair even if I just used it on the ends every other day. It’s a good conditioner but there’s just too much “oomph” for me personally.
This might be okay for someone with dry, thick hair. You could probably even use it as a once-weekly treatment mask, it’s that rich. It was not worth the price for me, I returned it and wouldn’t buy it again.

I have bought this product, along with the shampoo and masque a few times. I think I just wanted to give it a chance. While it smells almost like grapefruit or something citrus-y, it actually dries my hair out a bit.

I LOVE this conditioner! As for some of the bad reviews on here, I think this conditioner works really well for a certain hair type. I imagine if you have thin, straight, not damaged hair, this wouldn’t do much for you, but if you are like me and have very thick, dry, unruly, frizzy hair it is a-maz-ing! This makes my hair softer than anything I have ever used before (and I have used a LOT of different hair products), and I can actually immediately feel the difference in how much more moisturized my hair is. I feel like it does weigh your hair down slightly, but for some people, like me, that is a good thing. It weighs it down just enough where you don’t have frizzies all over the place, but doesn’t make your hair feel heavy and like it has a greasy coating all over it. Also, this shampoo and conditioner smells so nice, and stays in your hair longer than most. It is expensive, but it’s totally worth every penny, and like other reviewers said you don’t have to use a lot. Overall this is just an amazing product
